So i traded my beloved TL today, need a truck for work. I still have some parts brand new if anyone wants to buy them... cheap too. I have the whole timing belt kit purchased from an acurazine sponsor, as well as an o2 sensor, and 5000k switchback bulbs from VLEDS. none of these have ever been used so let me know.

 

how much for the timing belt kit? and o2 sensor

 

I got the parts from wholesalesguy from the forums.

timing belt kit was 440, how does 300 sound?
o2 sensor I got for 138, how's 80 sound?

I also have rear mdx calipers if anyone wants them 20$ for both?

offer me a price tho I'm really not looking to holding on to these.

They are OEM man, I bought it from hansel acura.
This includes the timing belt, water pump, bearing tensioner, hydrolic tensioner, and all drive belts. I also purchased an additional belt i think or a tensioner i would have to look at the receipt. brand new too

Yes they're type 2, I believe that they are these ones : V3 GEN2 6K WHITE BULB ONLY

does 40 sound reasonable?

 

Does anyone know if costco still sells batteries for 2004 tl?

I went to the south location and they said they no longer sell 24F batteries.

 

Not sure if you linked the wrong item but that link does not lead to switchbacks. Type 2 switchbacks are white when the headlights are on and turn to amber when a signal is initiated, then return to white once you stop signalling. The link also doesn't indicate if it's a 1157 bulb either.

 

they are switchbacks I had the 6000k on my tl and bought the 5000k but never got the chance to switch them

 

Do you have pictures or the actual link to them? I'm curious to know which generation they are since I had 2 sets from vleds die on me already.

Yes just bulbs. I can let them go for 20$ I was just going to throw them out.

 

Yeah unfortunately I would have no need for them since I don't have the necessary equipment to power them. I thought you had the other style.

 

No, they don't. They "sometimes" get the right size in, but it's a gel battery, geared more to marine use. Not really suitable for our winters.

I just replaced mine with a Walmart "Everstart Maxx" after striking out at Costco; it was the only place selling batteries at 7 pm on a Sunday. Seems to work well enough.

also, where can i find a decently priced clutch kit and flywheel.
The girlfriend has been driving my baby.
.................and now i need to do the clutch.
and most likely the flywheel as she said its been slipping for awhile.

mines a high miler.
up to 174000 now.
Still original clutch. so its time to replace anyway.

I also had check engine light on.
so i hooked a diag machine up to it.
Said i was getting random misfires. Cylinders 2,4,5,and 6
i know that the timing has never been done.
So i am assuming that is the issue.
any comments??

 

Timing belt hasn't been done? That wouldn't give you those misfires, unless it snapped then your engine is done too and misfire would be the least of your problems.
Check spark plugs maybe

 

I am over 200k and still original clutch, only slips in 1 and 2 when I am racing. and for the miss fire, cant be your timing belt, spark plugs, spark plug wiring or coil packs. if it all checks out then fuel related.

 

just made my first DVD-A for the TL,
sound quality is unreal compared to normal mp3 dvds.
cant seem to get the track info to display tho

 

Anybody got any extra bumper/fender clips around? Buddy needs them lol.
