Complete timing belt kit special $295!!!!

We are offerring a limited time timing belt kit special for all 99 and up TL's. This kit includes everything that we replace on a timing belt job here @ our dealership, just for ALOT cheaper. This includes the timing belt, water pump, bearing tensioner, hydrolic tensioner, and all drive belts. The price for this kit is $295, which includes shipping to your door within the US. If you are in CA there will be additional tax. Feel free to call, PM or e-mail if you would like to add or subtract a part from the kit or have any other questions.
Thanks,

Kaleb

He is posting it in each gen so 99 and up- gen2 or gen3 doesnt matter

all the parts you should replace with idler bearing and tensioner pulley, and the accessory drive belt if you need it, thats a good deal
some may have already replaced the alt belt and its own tensioner so they will delete any item,, or add more like valve cover gaskets and do your 105 right~

may take a ride up there on the bike to score this deal~
hey sub- want to do both our cars together?

Sure. I probably need a refresher on Honda/Acura for timing belts (been a long time) but otherwise good to go.

Wow, perfect timing. I'll PM you in about 2 weeks. If you don't mind, can I get a price with the valvecover gaskets (and o-rings or whatever the TL uses around the spark plug holes). Thanks!

To add the VCGaskets and SPlug seals to the TBelt kit would be an additional $22.
Let me know when you are ready.

Is there a DIY in the 3G Garage that I missed? This looks like a great deal and I was thinking about doing this soon anyways (I'm at 91k miles) but I know this is a pretty serious job and I'd like to have at least one walk through to reference when doing something this major.

Google seems to only have G1 & G2 walk through's.

do you have discounts on the aspec kit as well? i see that the front underspoiler is $240. Is it possible for the 20% discount to be applied onto that as well? Also, how much would shipping be to socal.

Hell if that's just for the parts I'd buy them now and hold on to them when I need them.

Not to speculate, but I'd be getting this 30k miles in advance, so

What can these be reasonably obtained for if not purchased here?

The oem parts in this kit usually go for anywhere between $415-$500 regular price.
Those platinum plugs are not included in this kit. They run $18.35 apiece normally and I can include them for $14 each. They should be changed every 90k.

Yah I just callled a local Acura dealer and asked them how much the parts cost. And how much labor would be. They quoted me over 500 parts and about 500 in labor. lol.. I told them about the 295 and they couldnt even get close to it. I will be purchasing this soon!!

I'm about to hit 108k miles and got hit with the B4 service on the mid. Will this kit provide with all the parts necessary? Am I also supposed to change the valve cover gaskets at the same time? anything else?

also I do know I need to replace the spark plugs with ngk.

I am coming up on this service, been telling my wife to expect a big bill. Do dealers take parts bought from somewhere else and install them? One other dumb question, are these OEM parts?

Some do, some won't. Considering these are OEM parts, more dealers would probably be willing to install them.

I've got the same question as well.

In any case, I am willing to score this ASAP since I would like to have all of this work taken care of before the second week of March (spring break roadtrip).

Just ordered the kit, looks like i'm a repeat customer. bought the a-spec side skirts from kaleb last march. I didn't put in the valve cover gaskets, hopefully that will last another 100k?

to change your water pump,, get under the car and look for the bolts holding it to the block,, untighten, remove, replace with new, done.

Some follow-up that some of you might be interested in:

I ordered this kit from Kaleb on Tuesday afternoon and it looks fantastic! For $295 this can't be beaten- the dealer here in Logan couldn't come anywhere NEAR the price Kaleb has offered this kit for, not to mention it got here today so it was only a 3-day shipping time.

I think that's especially important considering that I ordered an O2 sensor through the dealership last Saturday and it's still not here yet...

I highly recommend that anyone riding the fence should go for this deal, even if you don't need it right away- it is money well-spent and you'll save around $200+. That's less of a headache for you or your wallet, and you avoid having to deal with the dealership (which is never pleasant).
