That guy in the MDX is in Civil isn't it? If so, he used to drive a lowered 3G TL. He bought his MDX the same time I bought my RDX in West Side Acura.

Changing spark plugs isn't hard, it's time consuming but not hard at all, i did it on my TL and it look a few hours tops. if that's the only thing that's causing misfire. What did the dealership tell you what's wrong with the car? just spark plugs or is there more? Maybe coil pack is bad too, not hard to replace at all while doing spark plugs but parts are couple hundred $ I believe

The 2nd cylinder is misfiring they think it's because something got to do with the valve timing or something, I'm selling the car, but just incase I might need to get it fixed

if the timing is off, then that's a different story. I wouldn't mess with it since I know nothing about it. But if it's spark plugs or coil packs, that's pretty simple. you can find a DIY here on this site and just follow that

I drove a lowered TL in the winter haha Stock height, no it's not too low, it's a regular car. But I do like driving my FX in this weather better than I did my TL

You won't have a problem if you have dedicated winter tires. I drove my lowered TL for 2 winter seasons with Nokian Hakk R. I drove from Terwillegar to NAIT almost every day and never had a single problem.

haha all good man. What was that vendor on ebay you got the roof vinyl from? I am looking to order some Black Brushed Aluminum vinyl for my interior pieces. I have brushed aluminum the real stuff, but it scratches and dents very easily so I wanna cover it up.

their shipping is ridiculous tho, it's OK for larger pieces, but I need 5sqft and shipping is as much as vinyl

i got a 5x6 and it was only around $80/85 total w/shipping and that covered duties/customs.

they must of changed their shipping or something, i also dont remember them having "import charges" before

theyres a new vendor on here that does 3M vinyl, maybe his prices will be better?

Wow haven't been on in a while. Nice to see a lot of new members are chiming in.

How's everyone drive been these past few days? In residential areas I felt like a snowplow but main roads are cleared so it was all good.

@Siidhu - Get the dr.color chip kit. It gives good results for the effort required. If you're looking for even better results, you'd be looking at wetsanding the areas after you've applied multiple layers of paint and compounding then finishing it with a finer polish. Really depends on how much time, money, and effort you're willing to put forth.

Just paid 1200$ at west side acura to get a cylinder misfire repair, valve adjustment, coil pack and new spark plugs, probably not going to worry about the hood until summer , thanks though I will keep that in mind

Driving is fun, drift every single corner I can find lol.

Bad thing is though, my girlfriend knocked off my rear driver passenger door cover (the door trim that doesn't move when you pull the handle). It looks like the little plastic clip is broken, it still fits back on just not snug. And my car is plasti dipped, so ordering a new cover would be OCD for me cause it wouldn't match (and I don't have time to re-dip). Anyone know a quick fix, I was thinking some adhesive tape and super glue.

I am having a blast in my SUV haha it's a huge difference from driving lowered TL, to driving a regular SUV. Also my AWD system is not always on, it shuts off after take off so it's RWD most of the time and I get to drift in it too :-P
