That would be me! They are 18" x 8.75 XXR 530s with +20 offset. Unfortunately, I don't know if you can get them in the city, as I ordered mine from Vancouver.

@Tai - haha spotted you yesterday lol, didnt even realize you until you made the left turn haha

@LADHAR - if you're not on coils/springs then you probably wont need any fender rolling as they will fit just fine. The 4G's I've noticed have pretty big clearance, probably can fit a 20's on them.

can you try and switch the ballast between passenger/driver and see if the other one will flicker? It's a pain in the ass but if it will save you money...

Also you can go with aftermarket ballast too

They're holding up pretty well. Not sure about the weight! Pretty sure you can find it through a quick search on Google. Like Aaron said though, you can probably get away with running a larger rim size for the 4G in order to make it look more flush. Unfortunately, I'm not that familiar with the specs you should be running. I personally had to roll my fenders in the rear because I was rubbing whenever I went over large bumps/dips in the road.

On a side note, I may have spotted you on whyte today at around 5:30 ish. I think you were turning left and I was heading straight.

yes u probably did I live on 84 ave was coming back from work.

Thanks for the response. I am thinking to get chrome black 18X8.5 20 offset

I couldn't find a Canadian vendor. Only one that I found is NextLevel Motoring
$583 + $330 SHIPPING

Do you remember your seller in Vancouver. so I can save 300 bucks on shipping.

lastly did you tried putting BBS caps on them?
appreciated
Thanks.

Don't waste your money on 18s for a 4G TL. Go with 20s to fill out that wheel well nicely. Since you are AWD, aren't your stock wheels 19s, so why go lower?

My stocks are 18"

19s will not be very comfortable and you know the roads are bad
and I don't drive slow so I don't think they will last very long

If I would be living in California I for sure be thinking to buy 20's ?

I found the Canadian website though

I drove lowered on those wheels Darkness has with 35 profile tire, lowered 1.5" all around (maybe more after springs settled in) and I didn't have problems. I watched out not to hit every pothole yea, but I didn't drive slow either.

Oh now I recognize U live near my place. I pass by your car every day around 5:20 becoz of the traffic on whyte ave

You live on 83 ave and near 101 st right
from the looks of it you bought your rims (velocity VW 865A) from Dmitri on 118 ave and near 66 st
the rims he sells are not very good in my experience but economical though 800 to 1100 dollars with rubber installed.

Honestly, it seems like you don't have any intention of lowering your car anytime soon (for the time being?) since you're looking for a comfortable ride for our roads. If that's the case, I would personally run 19s with 20 offset. My car looked off to me after I threw the wheels on and before lowering it because of the wheel gap. It almost creates the illusion of having a smaller wheel size than what they really are.

Btw the Canadian seller I was referring to wasnt actually 1010tires, it was a place called Image in Motion in BC. I don't remember if the prices are cheaper than NextLevel Motors before taxes but I do recall reading a thread where someone ordered from NLM in Montreal and received a large customs fee. Shipping was really fast (3 days) once it was in stock but my wheels were back ordered for 45 days since it was backordered at the factory itself. The cost of shipping it to Edmonton was about $70 with no additional customs fees. Keep in mind I ordered my tires off of 1010tires and it took about a week and a half for just "processing".

Also, if you're going to order these rims you're gonna need hubcentric rings. the size for my car was 73.1/64.1 but I think this is the general size for all Hondas/Acuras. Image in Motion sells them for $15 but its not listed on the website so you would just need to email/phone them to add it to your order

Also, no I haven't tried putting BBS caps on them. People on Acurazine have been using the 3G type S center caps since the gunmetal color matches well with the chromium black color of the rims. You just need to heat it slightly and it'll pop right in. I was going to throw those on but haven't gotten around to ordering them yet. The XXR center caps look terrible so no one really uses them.

I think my fog light ballast might be going. The right fog light doesn't work occasionally. Once I turn the fogs off and back on, the fog will turn back on.

Any of you guys going to the 780 Honda meet this Saturday?

@Vince - If my car is fixed, maybe haha

@Ladhar - If you're planning on getting wheels, lower the car first or get them done at the same time! 4x4 look sucks and you'd wish you lowered the car first haha and IMO, 19 or 20s on 4Gs,

Over the long weekend I had Justin help me do an install:

It began with taking apart some pieces to my car

After many hours, end result

The box Justin custom made is incredibly clean. Fitment is perfect and truly saves trunk space in comparison to getting a generic box.

Oh yeah, I get to play videos too The location of the media player and switch is uber stealth.

Huge thanks to Justin for the install. He knows his audio equipment very well and did a fantastic job on the custom enclosure for the sub. Definitely hit him up if any of you are considering an aftermarket audio system.

Now as a result of the new additions to my trunk, I won`t be able to utilize my trunk tray anymore. Anybody interested in purchasing throw me an offer. Purchased through the vendor acktl05. Here`s a link to the item: http://www.oemacuraparts.com/oem-par...08u45-sep-200a

Condition is 9.5 out of 10. Light scuffs near the ends but otherwise mint. Would love to keep it but in order to do so I would have to cut it up, ruining the look. Kept my trunk nice and clean, trapping all the dirt that would otherwise wedge itself into the annoying carpet that likes to hold onto everything.

@Myron - Rofl yeah "Tyler" did some incredible work. Sure the 550i would be great, but do you want to deal with the hundreds of electrical issues once it's out of warranty?

I can probably rent one for little to nothing, I need to do a slight roll.

Ps, driving the car to mexico and vegas was amazing, 6600 kms in 4 days. I shall post up pics soon!

Hey guys! I finally managed to get everything installed. Installed the CAI late August and just finished installing the exhaust last night. Needless to say, working under a vehicle is not very fun. It took me probably 8 hours to do it myself, with no help. Rusted nuts are a huge pain, even with penetrating oil.

Regardless, the end results are awesome. On the drive home I turned the radio off so I could experience all the cabin noise and the sound. Very happy with it, and the drone is tolerable\controllable as far as I am concerned! I'll eventually get some pictures\videos up (anyone have suggestions?).

@v|nsan|ty - That looks great! I wouldn't have thought to put the sub in the side like that. I'd love to have a system that pounds hard, love my bass music!

Damn got everything in already?!? Definitely post up some videos of idle/revving and a driving video if you have a gopro. Do you find the car pulls a lot more? We should try to have one last meet before winter hits.

@ v|nsan|ty - Yeah, I put the CAI first. Coincidentally, I found the plugin for my block heater, lol! Installing the exhaust took me 8-10 hours. The nuts were rusted to hell, so that made things quite difficult! I don't have a go-pro, but I will figure something out. The difference just sitting idle is quite noticeable. As for pulling, I did notice an extra bit of torque steer, but I haven't had the opportunity to try it off the line. Some time this week I'm sure it will happen!
