Hey, I have always read this forum when looking for info but this is my first post... I have a 01 Acura 1.7El here in E-town, and I am looking for a new hood. I was in an accident a while ago, I never got around to fixing it because I was driving my 98EL instead, then last week that got stolen

So now I got to get the 01 on the road.
Do you guys have any idea if there are aftermarket ones? or a online Parts store I can get one?

I have been looking for a while can't seem to find anything. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Talk to Curtis at Black Gold Auto Imports in Nisku, he might be able to source you something out.

Decided to remove both mid mufflers. Thinking I might add a resonator. Its alot louder in the video than it is in person!

Whats up all?
So im having some issues with my clutch.
It seems to be slipping but only in 4th and 5th when trying to pass someone and i put the pedal down.
Does this mean that i need to replace the clutch? or could there be some gremlin causing this? any ideas.

Also at Darkness, that sounds bad ass!

How many km;s on your car? Original clutch? Good chance that you need a new one. Higher gears have the most load so which would cause the slipping.

Looks awesome Arenham! I actually saw the post on facebook and knew it was you ;p
I'm really curious about the matte finish though. Does it allow dirt to cling to the car more easily? Let me know. I'll eventually get my car dipped, probably next year.

Also, anyone take their TL down to Castrol for Drag night? Was there last night and got super stoked! Saw some cars posting really high 14's. Under optimal conditions apparently the TL-S 6MT can hit 14.1, but that's just paper. I'm hoping to head down there soon and see what numbers I can hit. It'll give me some kind of a baseline to compare to when I get a cat-back.

For now its been dryed for about 24 hours but dirt and grime doesn't cling easily, nor does water. Its like its waxed. But I'll keep you posted more on how dirty things get when the plasti dip has had more time to cure.

@aaron - Looks good!

Here's how my car sits right now. Thinking of getting rid of the wheels for a set of concave style wheels and a set of 17's.

I am at 178km, original clutch and is still holding. I sometimes shift without the clutch to get more Km out of it!! I know am cheap! why replace something when I can ride it out all the way! haha. where you planning on getting it done? shop around for sure and i might be able to hook you with a mechanic who knows what he is doing!

Regarding the meet, I think sat or sun evenings work for everyone. Set the time and start a list.

I got nothing better to do, I'd be down for a Saturday meet.

Probably gonna throw my wheels up for trade/ sale soon, looking for a set of 17x8's with a +30 offset.... time to run a meaty and aggressive setup haha.

Im busy this weekend. Lol. Summer is always hard to have a meet. Wed nights would probably work for most people.

Time for some TL maint. Doing my inner/outer tie rods, both upper ball joints and control arms, lower ball joints, replacing a damaged wheel stud, and have to replace my brembo caliper because the threads are completely stripped from being over tightened. That was a 460 dollar kick in the nuts. Along side a new ABS sensor that broke.

I'll be able to make it tomorrow at 4:30! Maybe we can even go for a cruise or something?
Lets hope more people come, it'll be hard to schedule a meet in the coming weeks due to people being busy and vacations!
