Since the nice weather every time I decide to go to timmies, I get a person down to race. Lost to a Imported Subaru WRX STI, he has a 2.0L with a Turbo. Putting out about 260 he said. With 230ish I kept up pretty good. Not off the line though. This was all done on a closed road of course

He thought I had a Turbo or something though, he made me open my hood haha.

Can't wait for our next cruise, lol kooty our video has over 500 views now.

 

been to mcdonalds plenty of times in both the TL and the teg, saw your car there but dont know who you are lol anyways, im hoping as soon as someone gets back to me ill be ordering my F2 type 1s to slam this TL and to have some wheels so ill officially be able to cruise with you guys lol

Shit I totally forget the color. He has Red Mudguards though, i remember those stood out a lot. Was RHD, not very new either.

Yes a meet at the end of April would be perfect, I'm thinking either the 29th or 30th, go for a little cruise and find a good spot to park and get some cool shots.

Also I was thinking about trying to organize an Alberta meet (basically the Edmonton guys and us) would anyone here been down for this? I was thinking mid summer probably out at sylvan lake.

So after being way too busy for way too long, I'm back.

It's been one hell of a few weeks. I got my car keyed from the front fender to the rear bumper, so decided to have it resprayed while i was in Vietnam/China. I'm covered under comprehensive so it'll only cost me 250 for 3,000 of work, Boyd's Autobody (*cough cough* on 1st *cough) looks good and has a good rep, and I thought I have nothing to worry about at all.

Fast forward 2 weeks, I go in to pick up my TL, and it turns out that the "complete-waste-of-daddy's-spermatooza" of a LOT BOY crashed my car into a fucking parked Lexus IS. 6,000 of damage to my car ON TOP OF the initial 3 grand... none of which I caused... to my 50 grand car which I haven't even owned for a year.



How unlucky can I be eh? Now I'm driving around with a super shiny car with a blatant overspray on a few places on the fender (which I'm going to get them to fix if it's the last thing they ever do).


.....But on a positive note I bought a 09' R6 to keep my mind of my car Anyone down for riding this summer?

Driven isn't coming to Calgary, so many of the Calgary/Edmonton people will be going to vancouver to go to the Driven car show.

I'll go ahead and start a separate thread, but it would be a great time.

 

I would if it weren't for that drive. Not the route or anything just the 11 hours thing, too long for me.

 

To far a drive for me, but there is a couple meets coming up in the next couple weeks you guys should check out.
The first is in 3 hills on june 4th and the second is on june 11th at the deerfoot inn.

maybe mid july id drive out there but not for the DTP show. it wont be that good, that show has been going downhill since i put my old car in it in 2006.

im ready for a cruise though. also for whoever has a bike and wants to ride i potentially dont have much more time to ride, im going back to my beloved MR2 so im getting rid of the bike...lets get some riding in boys!
