Window Flaws/Blemishes?

I'm not 100% sure whats going on with my windshield. Even after a good cleaning I can still see blemishes particularly what looks like little dots that reflect light and what looks like the glass has a long cut in it.

I'll try to take photos tomorrow but it's hard to capture the blemish. They are visible when the sunlight reflects off it a certain way.

Anyways is this something people have seen before and is there a means of removing the blemishes? For example would there be an equivalent to claying for your windshield? Or am I left with just replacing the whole thing?

Is this something that has occured since ownership or something you are now just sharing with us and has been with the car since you bought it?
Most windows have some sort of blem in them, its just a matter of "where" and is it in your line of site.
I would give the claying a shot for sure......

The little dots - does this occur after a wash? For some reason, I get a bunch of what I call little 'nits' on the paint and window after a ONR wash. Some QD takes care of it, though.

i've had it since i owned the car but it seems like it is worse than before. the one that really bugs me is the line that goes from right in the middle of my LOS and then angles up about 30 degrees across the rest of the windshield. when i make turns in the sunlight my vision is inevitably drawn to this line.

so claying wont do anything bad to the glass? i remember being told once that the windshield has some sort of stuff on it like a wax and i could potentially take it off with dawn soap or a claybar.

Theres no protection on the glass, it is what it is. The laminates are inside the glass. Claying wont do anything to the glass itself. it will make it smoother as it removes any crud built up onit, it may also remove any chatter your wipers may have. Give it a shot. Looks like your going to have to live with the blem if indeed it's part of the glass itself as opossed to something on the surface (which im beginning to doubt).

As far as cleaning Invisible Glass is the best. It truly backs up it's name! Try the clay for sure though as previously stated.
