The monthy UPP isnt necessary, especially is using Opt SW after washes. Opt SW is a pretty damn good spray wax......

the first time you wash your car, you will see how well upp works...i can get away with only reapplying upp about every 3-5 months....you can use the spray wax every 3 or 4 washes and that should be plenty....

Wow...I'm suprised of that frequency...I would have def. figured I would have to use it more often.

I'm going to Napa for the day so I'm sure I'll need to wash the car tomorrow when I get back from all the buggies.

Then I can relish over the water beadage...

You guys have to remember that Noah lives in San Francisco... I really don't think Noah's protection will last as long as the rest of us, even with his regular maintenance. It's just something to consider.

Salt among many other things, constant temperature changes, thick fog, sun coming in and out, heavy industrial fallout (muni system, buses, etc.), etc.

True...for detailing purposes...conditions are terrible.

50% of life is spent in thick fog, live 30 blocks from the ocean, two public bus lines are on my block.

This might have to be a 3 month process.

Was thinking of buying a PC 7424 too, but wanted to know main differences between the 5.5" and 6.5" pads. Is it just that 5.5" cuts better and has more ability to work into tighter areas? Thanks!

The only reason behind the 5.5" pads being able to cut better is because it does not hinder the random orbital rotation of the PC. However, if you were to use these pads on a rotary machine, the larger pad would be more beneficial.
