Did you try some bug & tar remover?

Bird shit is such a pain in the ass... If you don't get rid of it ASAP, it can really cause some damage.

clay bar won't do it. clay is a huge waste of time and if not done properly will leave it's own problem behind. orbital buffer is the only way to go.

Um...OK. If you say so.

Chances are it ate through the paper thin clear coat. Not a whole lot you can do. I would suggest taking it to a professional detailer and have him hit it with a rotary and some abrasive and see if it minimizes the appearance.

actually, he's right in a way...if u don't know how to PROPERLY clay the car, all yer gonna do is scratch the finish up the yinyang

complete waste of time??? that's debatable, but i know where's he's coming from

i had to have bird crap taken out of my hood a week ago by the detailer it was so deep...nothing but an orbital worked...i dunno what some of these birds eat, but i marvel over how their stomachs remain intact :shakehd:

if u have a silky smooth finish to the touch, that's great, but when u have a 2 year old car, i think claying is in order...it's not a difference u can so much see as u can feel...most of what claying takes out r so small, it's hardly noticeable...BUT, u can feel the difference in the sense no "pimples" are there, shadow spots and small specs of dirt will disappear, various types of stains will pretty much b taken out, leaving yer finish vulnerable and exposed, however, fill those small pits with Zaino, and u'll b good to go
