detailing question
I have a 2004 NBP TSX and was wondering what you guys would think is a better process for getting a deep-wet look for the black finish? The first option is cheaper because I already have most of the products. Processes below:
First Process - only need to buy Klasse AIO
Dishwashing soap
Mother's Clay Bar
Meguiar's GC shampoo
Klasse All-In-One
NXT (2 coats)
Meg's #16 Professional Wax
Second Process - Need some new stuff
Dishwashing soap
Mother's Clay
Meguiar's GC shampoo
Klasse AIO
Klasse Sealant Glaze (2 layers)
Pinnacle Souveran Wax
Meg's #16 (winter application(s) only)
Thanks for any advice!

The click and brag section of a detailing forum. Look around there a bit, a lot of times car's are labeled by color in the title. You can probably find a look you really like and then go witha similar process. Some polishing is probably in line too, which will really help your look.

Well, the first thing I would tell you is to get rid of the dishwashing soap, and fast. Its made for dishes, not for cars. Wash it too many times with that stuff, and kiss your finish goodbye. Think about it........would you use car wash soap to do your dishes?
Im with Unsane....My experience, and that of som eothers in forums im with, is SG can leave black a little plasticy. Ya really need oil along with black to rejuvinate and enhance. SG being an acrylic, as well as AIO, which is a great cleaner by the way, arent real rich in the depth dept. You would be better off with the carnauba. If i had it my way, I'd go with #1. The AIO will clean up real nice, but you would ultimately like to have a polish in their as well. Wash with auto soap, get rid of the dawn, bury it will ya! Man I wish that Dawn wash would leave the planet! Minimum go with Meg's #9, NXT, then your Carnauba of choice....If it was mine, it would be Megs #80, and Four Star UPP......

Thank goodness. If you were one of those Zaino guys who swears by Dawn, I think I might have had to hunt you down and kill you.

I haven't actually used dishwashing soap ever on my car, but I had heard that it was good
for removing the old wax. Either way, I'm taking it out of the process.
How does this sound:
Meg's GC shampoo
Clay
GC shampoo
Meg's #80
2 coats NXT
Meg's #16
would adding Meg's #26 or pinnacle souveran before #16 provide a deeper color?

Thanks goodness. Dishwash soap is just horrible, and I think Zaino is way overrated. I've been next to plenty of cars that have Zaino on them, and I'm not impressed. My car looks and feels better every time.

For now I'm gonna go with #80, NXT, and #16 and see how that does. Thanks for all of the help guys!
