Every now and then you will see a product that can help keep your car clean and shiny. I was first introduced to a cali duster when my father got it for his car back in 95. After then I have used a cali duster on all my car. This is one product that will save so much money and time and will help you keep your car spick and span all the time.
No effort and it takes only about 3 min to dust off the entire car. Esp good after rain or between car washes.
I love the product so much I got the cali super duster, cali water blade and cali dash duster. I highly recommend this product to everyone.

I know technique got them after I recommend it to him and he loves it and when I showed JZ at the burke meet and Johny Blaze at todayz meet they where both impressed at how simple and effect it was. Oh yeah GSX racer used it as well to get rid of some stuff off his trunk.

Best thing is it works better the dirtier it gets. Sounds wierd but I had mine for almost 3 years now. And it only cost me like 40 dollars back then.

How do you clean them? I have 2 of them, 1 new and 1 dirty. I use them all the time and I'm scared to use on my black CL-S!

I have the super one too, but am a little afraid to use it on it if it's too dirty. The rain the last few days has made my car all dirty...think it's okay to use it on it?

I also have the big duster, the mini one and the cali-blade. Has anyone ever noticed a smearing when dusting in high humidity. It's not the parafin wax either, I have left mine out on paper for days and days at a time. Another negative- the duster increasesd static and your car will pick up dust more quickly. BUT its pretty easy to just dust it again.

also,
clevie- Don't use the duster on your car if there are large dirt paricles on your car. only use it when the dust on the car is light enough to not scratch the car.

watch out for the cali-blade. if there is the slightest piece of anything on there it will scratch your car. I am very, very careful and I've still scratched with the blade

like I said I've been using the same one for 3 years, being kinda cheap. hehe and the best time to use it IMO is after it rains and its complelty dried w/ water marks. Just run duster over and VOUALA!! all gone. If you read the manual closly it says the dirtier it is the better it works. Which seems true. Just don't use it on wet surface.

your getting problems becuase you NOT sopose to use it on wet surfaces or when its really humid out side (extra water particles in the air) and when storing the duster I keep mine in a leather pouch, you should keep yours somewhere its not getting ventalated or just laying on carpet ie. trunk or else it might stain it.

The blade really screwed up my car. There are little scratches everywhere and i thought i was careful.

I notice the smearing sometimes too it makes a real mess.

I use the Cali waterblad alal the time. The secret is one I picked up here. Put it in hot water before you use it and it keeps it very pliable. No scratches and I have a black CL.

Pep Boys carries the bulk of their products. I purchased the water blade directly from them. I pick up the "dusters" from Pep Boys. Pep Boy's seems to have good prices on them.

Here is the web site link for them:

Here is the web site link for "Car Care Online":

http://www.carcareonline.com

BTW -- the new water blade works great. I use it with the P21S SUPER-ABSORBING DRYING TOWEL item 10416
(available from carCareOnline.com). As long as the car is clean, the blade shouldn't cause any scratching. I had 2 detailers recommend the blade! A feather duster works great for very light dusting...

Blade - been using it for over a year. I'm paranoid about making sure it's rinsed & clean edged, but so far no problems & I love it.

Dusters - have three - all from Pep-Boys. I keep mine inside, so humidity & heat not a problem. Car must be COMPLETELY dry and you need to wrap new dusters in newspaper for a few days to absorb the excess parafin in order to avoid streaks. The small 'dash' model is great. Two years worth of 'dirty' and they still work wonderfully! BTW - the third 'dash' model is inside duty only - best duster you'll ever use for your house
