strap an old Cosworth V8 in it and off ya go. I have seen just such a car at the Glen.

^ $95k for the chassis though. Not sure what these retired/show F1 chassis normally run for. Then sourcing a compatible engine/trans.

I wish I had the kinda cash to blow on a toy like that. Then again, my fat ass would never fit in the car after I bought it. 
My brother had one of Roger Penske's Indycars at his house once for his son's party. I got in it and shimmied myself in as far as I could go. It was scary tight/cramped.
