i've got a little something up my sleeve... been reading the A/V section of the forums
Wow. That's an interesting product. Let me know what price you find -- if any. Also, I wonder about the quality of Blitzsafe, cuz I could see something like that sounding kinda nasty if it isn't a 1 to 1 wire conversion and they use cheap circuitry.

I am supposed to be at Heavenly today, but my grandma died yesterday (not unexpectedly), so I'm gonna fly out tomorrow to Cincinnati to do the family support / funeral thing for mama.

Lake Tahoe snowboarding and gambling --or-- funeral in Cincinnati... Hmmm... About even I guess...

Nope, no snowboarding. It was suppposed to be today thru Sunday. I'm still gonna pay my share of the hotel we were splitting with our friends, as well as our share of the rental car. It's basically a shitty situation.

I must admit that there was very little snow whin this happened. Mostly ice. I caught an edge on the top of like the last mogel in a field and I flew like a bird for about 10 yards. The rest you know.

The moral to that story is don't sky when there is no snow!!

I don't think that will be a problem for you this year.

mantis, i called tons of places today
i couldnt find local shops that carry it- the ones that offered to order it (which said would take a week to get) quoted me higher anyways.

streeteffectz said 85 shipped. others were also around 80ish. there's a "soundgate" adapter that has 2 aux ports for $99. "PIE" also makes one, but i'm not sure if its the same thing ~$50 on a yahoostore.

i ended up ordering the "blitz" one from logjam 7.50 shipping

i've been wishing i could plug an iPod into an AUX port on the stock head unit for a while, so if the install goes well i'm all over it. could be velcro time in the old CL-S.

Surprised!

Why is it that none of the DFW guys have jumped on the Unichip group buy ACL has going on?

Is everyone about messing with the ECU?

Or does the price make ya :shakehd: ?

I have my reasons. Just wondering about everyone else.

The price makes me :headshake: I need to get headers again (eventually) before I invest in a chip. I'm waiting on getting those new stone racing headers for the 6MT coming out soon.

I get too intimidated by reading that long ass thread. I start reading it, then I wake up 4 hours later. Strange.

Last I heard it was around $650 for 15whp across the band. This still the case? Have they actually got the sale going?

I thought it was more like $700-750. I know they were looking for at least 20 people.
My main jump is the damn cost. If I'm going to spend that kind of money might as well and just go all out and buy CT headers new, and throw away my OBX's.

And Actually I think Unichip still has to test and tune a P&P harness for the 6 speeder.

I'm still alive and intact! No broken bones or sprains, just very sore muscles. There was tons of snow and the weather was beautiful, sorry you couldn't make it Nutz.

thanks, me too. I hate it when you tell people you're going skiing so they decide to tell you about the worst thing that happened to them when they skied, and then they're like "well, have fun!" Everyone does that to me!

You should hear the stories I get when I say I used to ride a motorcycle everyday,,, Everyone would tell me about some terrible body dismemberment accident. I guess sking is the same ,, you're having sinful amount of fun but people want to bring you back down to earth,, no thanks but reality sucks.. who needs it.
