And that was my problem: the nut fell off. Long story short, I couldn't steer and it made a loud ass grinding noise and the little teeth on the shaft so the shop admitted fault and fixed it with new parts (power steering pump and shaft etc) and new power steering fluid and for my trouble they are doing a transmission drain and fill free of charge.
Nelson was close regarding the power steering pump lol.

I think with 15 gals I can go about at least 250 miles before the light cuts on I rarely pump over 20 & with that I get about 5 gallons 120 miles pushing it over 25 mpg is to risky had tried to make it home one night from work ran out of fuel right there gwb and 75. I can get 30mpg but after that I wont really try unless I know the needle aint dead on the pin

I'm afraid I can't help you there....
BUT, I pulled out my cars today
Unfortunately, I only have six MicroMachines...
Since a few of them are specimens similar to this "Big, Bad, Beautiful Buick"...
....I rummaged through a Toys 'R Us for some replacements.
I bought a '70 GTO, Aston Martin DBS, LP 570-4 Superleggera, and a "+350 HP" Civic...
I bought some sidewalk chalk too!!
