Can someone recommend a good paint shop on the north side preferably south of Pflugerville? I don’t want to go as far north as Round Rock. I did a brief yelp search and found Berli’s Body & Fine Auto Finishes in Pflugerville had good reviews. Anyone who has prior experience anywhere is helpful. A car in front of me on 35 ran over a piece of wood and it hit my front bumper.
35 is the wurst.. wish I could help you.. I ride dirty @kurtatx is always bitching about his cheap paint, maybe he knows of a good shop
I can recommend a top notch bumper shop though that does a decent job of blending
This wild ass dude has a shop called Bumpers Rx.. I haven't been by his place in years, but he's a chemical engineer
They were on Research near Toyota, but I think their new shop is in Pflugerville..
I guess "crowd" is a poor choice of word during this time haha. I was at World Racing League and Edge Addicts at COTA recently working on my boss/friend's cars and it occurred to me I have no car enthusiast friends out here and decided to reach out on here. I'll start being active on here more since I refuse to be active on Facebook. Looking forward to meeting you all soon one day.

Before I post it on the marketplace, I was wondering if anyone here is interested in purchasing a used ATLP quad exhaust (non-resonated). Have one for sell.
Hey I'm visiting this weekend. Any recommendations for a tourist like me. I'll try Franklin's if the line isn't insane but Terry Black's will be my backup. I hear Veracruz Tacos are great. I have a reservation at Uchiko. Thanks
As far as other things to do and see, the bats under Congress Avenue bridge are there but they aren't quite as impressive this early in the season (they're crazy in August). South Congress is kind of the place to go for touristy things. The flagship stores of YETI, Tecovas, are there plus Allen's Boots which is kind of a modern classic.
I don't know how you feel about alcohol but there are a lot of bars and breweries. I like to go to Hold Out brewing and then walk down the street to Waterloo Records, which is Austin's signature record store. Austin is also big for kayaking and stand up paddle boarding from a couple of different rowing docks. Tourists go to Oasis for the views, but the food is not good and it's way out of the way.
Oddly, I have never really done Austin touristy in the last 10 years. but that's where I would start.
Thanks. I'm staying down the street from La Barbecue on Cesar Chavez/Congress so it looks like a quick ride. Are you saying it's better than Terry Black's? What do you recommend there?
How is the public transit? Should I bother with a week pass? Seems the buses are cheap at $1.25 per ride.
