Woohoo ordered my iPhone
Guess I can sit at the cool table now.
Buh bye Sprint. It's been a fun ride. I get no service in my new house and I can't take it anymore. I will miss the SERO plan but seems you can't get any new cool phones on that plan.
Should be here soon. Ordered through my corporate account.

$69.99 or $59.99 (if you have the EPRP). Unlimited Anytime minutes to any mobile and provider, unlimited text, unlimited data. 450 anytime landline minutes.
That is WAY WAY cheaper than anything on what AT&T has as you have to pay $30 (now $25 for 2 gb) data, $15 for 1500 text or $20 I think for unlimited, and you don't get unlimited minutes. And that's additional to the plan.
I had the family plan, and now I can put all our phones on unlimited data/text/minutes without doing it PER phone which AT&T does. And saving $80 a month doing so!

2) I don't pay for my cell phone or my plan so I could care less what it costs.
3) I have unlimited data/web with my corp plan
4) The Zagg InvisibleShield resolves the antenna issue
Anything else?

they only require you pay for data on each phone
not to mention sprint's service blows nuts around here... and its a major city
if you dont get AT&T, Verizon, or Tmobile around here.. you might as well hang it up.
its nothing against you, its more about location... sprint could offer $20 a mo. for unlimited everything and im sure most people would still stay away from it here...

1) I get no Sprint service in my house so what's the point of staying with them?

But since you don't pay for it, true. Neither do I actually.

AT&T does not make you buy text or minutes per phone... unlimited applies to each phone on a family plan.
they only require you pay for data on each phone

Dunno, I have had them all, and Sprint so far has had the best coverage with Verizon. If Sprint can't get a signal, it will be on Verizons network roaming then. I just had a trip and drove through Baton Rouge and other parts around there and had no service issues with Sprint.

New software.... my Droid is outdated lol... damn it. Oh well, I use an HTC TP2 for now until the software update comes out for the Droid.
BTW, I had Sprint as well and hated it. The only reason I got it is because it was the only service that had reception where I lived (which was more in the desert than I currently live lol)

I have the original Droid with 2.2 and flash player beta 3. The flash player install is separate from 2.2 and its not in the market yet either but can be downloaded from the web.

^^ Thats lame, I dont see why they just dont include it with the software. If the iPhone doesnt play flash either, they need to get on the ball. Most websites use flash for one thing or another......

I liked Sprint when I was on it 10 years ago. What I didn't like about it was the CDMA system even though it gave great reception. When a phone would mess-up, I was out-of-luck. With the GSM system, I can swap my SIM into an old phone and keep going.

With Verizon, if you have an old phone and your current phone dies, you can do an ESN swap right through the website and keep on trucking. Used it many times.

So do I, and I get signal. You can get a airwave device for your house for free if you have trouble inside your house.
#28
So have I and you dont have to do it online. You can call *26 I think it is and it will program the phone that youre calling from as long as the original phone is turned off.

Sadly with the new iphone, you can't as it uses a new smaller sim card that won't swap.

Welcome to the club I had the same issues with Sprint.
