Verizon and the Slider

I noticed on phonescoop there's a Slider SE44 which has AMPS 800, making it a trimode, correct? Does Verizon offer this model?

eh... dont get that phone. the keypad is WAY too small. if u text alot, you'll HATE it.

also, the buttons on the main slide where the screen is dont light up. kinda dumb.

Everyone is moving away from tri-mode phones, especially Verizon, starting with Verizon. They have the largest analog network in the country...and they are SO wanting to shut it off.

That wasn't our slider (SE47/SE44), that was a Siemens clone of it, the SL56, which was discountintued by Congular and AT&T.

The SE47/SE44 is by Kyocera, and much mroe reliable.
