T Mobile problem

A friend of mine has t mobile. SHe has this shitty blue clamshell phone, I don't remember the make or model. Anyway her first one busted, so they sent a replacement. That was a refurb, didnt' work from the start. Since then they keep sending her broken refurbs, she is on her SIXTH phone now. Plus, every time they send a broken one, they maker her send it back before they send another, with at least a week of lag time, so she's without a phone for 2 weeks.

What can she do so they stop sending her broken phones? She tells the people the situation, they always say its policy and they can't do anything.

I told her to talk to a manager, if they don't fix the problem to file better business complaint. ANyone have any other advice?

Anyone got an extra tmobile phone laying around they would sell me?

Have her talk to a manager in a store. There is no reason that after 3 she should be stuck with the same handset. Im going to take a shot in the dark and guess is the moto v66. If so it is a piece of shit. And if they wont do anything for you I have a samsung sgh-s105 and a sidekick 1 laying around that I can hook you up with. Shoot me a pm if interested.

thats odd, I've had very good dealings with them, usually its the opposite, they send me a new one, and then i send mine back. I would just tell them that if they are not replacing with a new phone, then she will be closing out her account. I used to work there and they go to great lenghts to keep customers.

this is why i don't pay for the phone insurance. the turn around time is horrible plus not only do you pay a monthly fee, but a deductible too for a refurb

i usually keep extra phones lying around and i try to stay with GSM network. also if she can fit it in her budget, then check out www.plemix.com. all the phones are GSM and unlocked

I don't think she has the phone insurance. I think they are doing this all through the phones original warranty.

I'll check that site, thanks. She's got no money, if she's getting a new phone I'll be paying...
