Did you perform the update without any issues?

no problems for me

Installed the update ... no problems with Mail, Safari 3.0.4 (but I use Firefox for school) ... a buggy update to a new operating system? That's weird coming from Apple ...

I just installed the update and safari works fine v 3.0.4

question though for mac users. i thought i noticed that a feature i use in windows didn't work on mac but now its working, the function i'm referring to is what I call auto completing web addresses. in the address bar, i typically type the name of the site WITHOUT www. or .com but I hold control when I hit enter and the browser adds the www. and .com instantly to whatever you type. I thought I had tried this recently on mac and it didn't work but now it seems to be working. Am I losing my mind or did it always do this on mac's? works in safari now and works in firefox but in firefox you have to hit apple key + enter. In windows, control + enter works in both IE and firefox.

You can solve all that by just using openDNS.

I do the same like you, type without com or www. Works fine with me, with or without openDNS in Tiger and Leopard.
