New Apple Ipod Shuffle
2 things, if while it's connected you rotate it at all it says connection lost, which is kind of annoying with the short cable give you and using a laptop. Secondly it's so small/sleek you could likely pull it off as a tie clip at work. I'm still setting things up in Itunes for playlists and all. I keep a different Itunes account for each device Iphone/nano/shuffle now because they all have different purposes/capacities so this allows me to have each device setup better for it's purpose. For instance my phone has 80% of my music and a bunch of movies on it, while the nano that stays in the car is more cruisin' music and top 40 and the shuffle will be more metal and house to suit my work out moods.
so im kind of having an issue with my shuffle.
when i switch it directly to the shuffle mode from the off position, it starts up on the last song playing before i turned it off. So i skip a few songs, and when i skip a certain amount of songs (could be 2 could be 11) it would make a loud noise like when you pound on a microphone to see if its working, it goes into pause mode and when i press play it starts back up at the song it was playing when i turned it on, same position and all.
the only work around i have so far is to turn it on to repeat play first, let the song start and then flick it to shuffle mode so you hear that toggle sound.
its happened to me 3x so far.
dunno if that made any sense to you guys at all.

anyways i removed it and updated to the newest version. seems to have fixed all my issues.
also with the new update i can now i can get my shuffle all sweaty and not have to worry about the volume getting stuck going up all the way to max!

Apple just doubled the capacity of its iPod shuffle to 4GB while ditching the control wheel entirely. http://www.engadget.com/2009/03/11/a...ffle-hits-4gb/
.Is anyone aware of an adaptor that will allow me to connect this unit with the radio in my TL?

Apple Offers Replacement Program for iPod Shuffle Headphones With Remote
Monday April 19, 2010 04:45 PM EST; Category: iPod
Written by Eric Slivka
Apple today launched a new replacement program for users experiencing problems with the headphones that shipped with Apple's third-generation iPod shuffle that launched in March 2009 and was updated last September.
Apple has determined that the Apple Headphones with Remote included with the iPod shuffle (3rd gen) may fail under certain conditions. A very small percentage of iPod shuffle owners have experienced this issue. These headphones were included with the iPod shuffle (3rd generation) made between approximately February 2009 and February 2010.
Users experiencing non-responsive or intermittently-responsive controls on the integrated remote or unexpected volume changes or voice feedback should check to see whether their iPod shuffles fall into the range of affected serial numbers.
Serial number ranges of the iPod shuffle with the covered headphones:
xx909xxxxxx to xx952xxxxxx
xx001xxxxxx to xx004xxxxxx
Apple's accessory headphone systems, Apple In-Ear Headphones with Remote and Mic and Apple Earphones with Remote and Mic, experiencing similar symptoms are also covered by the replacement program.
Affected users in the U.S. should use Apple's online support system to request replacement headphones. Along with the replacement headphones, Apple will provide a pre-paid return envelope to provide for the return of the defective headphones. Users may also visit an Apple Retail Store (or Apple Authorized Service Provider outside the U.S.) for replacement.
