need a new printer

The network card in the printer keeps burning out. (changed it couple times already) I think this HP is done. Any suggestion for a new printer? I am looking at the Canon imageRUNNER 1023iF.

I don't need anything big... like my big old junk Savon.

I need one that can do 2-side copying/printing/scanning, network printing and faxing, and be able to email the fax/copy (in PDF) to different people in the network.

Thanks!

I've got an HP 7310 at home and so far it's been working well. I haven't scanned from it though. it supports network connectivity.

The Fax and printing work great.

I love the ability to print to the fax and it basically sends out the fax from my print job. it comes with built in 2 sided printing support too, all over the network connection.

the next thing I want to do is get the optional 250sheet paper tray.

i believe the 7410 version comes with the 250 sheet paper tray whereas the 7310 doesn't.

Mine is a HP 4101mfp. I need one with two 500-page trays.

Anything similar to this HP?

I don't want another HP. This HP is a POS.

Just saw the Fry's ad for today and they have the 7310 on sale for $299

Not a bad price at all.

Thanks.
How does the 4250n? Does it jam the paper in the automatic paper feeder in the scanner all the time?

I need to scan a bunch of letters and email the scan to the people.

My 4101mfp jams paper in the scanner all day. It either picks up a bunch of paper at once or the paper just stucks there in the scanner.

And this stupid HP costs almost $4000 with the hard disk... extra tray... fax... duplexer... etc. And it jams all the time!!!

Do you know anything about the Canon imageRUNNER 1023iF? It is half the cost of my HP. The Canon seems to do about the same thing and it does FTP too.

I have a Canon PC1060 copier. And I am very happy with this copier. Will the imageRUNNER as good as their copier?
