printer,hp 2000C

i've got a cyan ink cartridge out,and i just want to print black and white until i can refill/buy a new cartridge--
and it won't do it-- ideas???

the empty one is in, and the printer just blinks and sometimes prints out the "ink information" sheet that shows ink levels...

help?

 

are you selecting Black and White printing in your prefrences?

BTW... Nice printer, we have 3 at work adn tehy are very fast and have amazing quality.

Put the Cyan back in and select B/W

We have one at work too. Very nice. I want one for home.

Damn, you can afford the ink for that thing?

 

haha, it's only like $35 per cartridge... i just bought a refiller kit.. hopefully it works :/ it was $15 a piece shipped

 

Man my boss refills those cartriges. I wish he wouldn't. One time it smeared pages intermittely and sometimes left blotches of ink. I'm not saying that it can't work but......

Oh, it can be messes too.
