Question Laptop Question

What the hell?

Why is my laptop's screen dim with the AC cord plugged in but bright with it unplugged and only running on the battery? It was the other way around but it's like confused or something...

How do I fix this?

to save power. You can change the setting under control panel --> Power Management.

look on your keyboard, usually there is are brightness buttons....usually the 'Fn' button and something else. i don't think you can control that through power management.

I dunno how your laptop automatically changed.

have you tried using the FN key plus hitting the brightness buttons to adjust it and see what happens for when it's plugged in and not plugged in?

what kinda laptop is it?

It remembers your brightness settings on ac power and battery. So if you dim it yourself on ac power, and brighten it up when using the battery - it will remember that.

That's how mine is because usually on ac power I'm at home in the dark and don't want it super bright. On battery, I'm usually at work or on a plane and want it brighter.
