The touchpad has worse odds then roulette.

I like LMI on the iPad.

So is Splashtop an app you have to install like LogMeIn on each computer you want to be able to control?

Or can I just install it on my home PCs, which are connected to the interwebs, but not on a server network?

Just a tip for those playing videos through splashtop and VLC player.. if the video doesn't show you have to uncheck "accelerate video output" in VLC player's options.

anyone else having an issue with surfing azine in that you see a new post in a thread, when you click on the link it takes you to a previously cached version of the page?

not sure if that makes sense....

does it in both advanced browser and the stock browser...

I tested the 2 finger scrolling last night and found that if you push hard when you do the swipe motion it will scroll.. otherwise it will zoom in.

The stock browser does this for all my pages.. I just refresh if I know I've visited that page before.. annoying, but I'm used to it.

Same thing I do. Definitely annoying but so far really the only fault I have to complain about so I am still happy with it.

there is a way to turn off the over aggressive caching and it works great. Only downside I page load a tad slower but I don't mind. I'll find the instructions for you guys. Now I get fresh pages all the time now instead of the TP depending on cache

If you buy an app from the HP store, it remembers on the other device. Splashtop on all my touchpads!

For 4.99 I don't have a problem paying for it as it is something I use a lot in the house to start new downloads on my tv box and is much better than using my phone.

Also another problem I just found is there is no search function on the Adobe Reader app. I have several large PDFs that are service manuals for cars. I had planned on using it as a nice thing to have in the garage to use however not if I can't search for something as scrolling 300 pages sucks.

I'm all for downloading apps, but for $5 this app is worth it. It's flawless for me
