Sounds like there will be a learning curve with this device.

From what I've observed about 8ish hours.

But, if you slap on that Apple sticker...you never need to recharge the TouchPad.

Also the screen was turned on at the unlock screen...

So I know I can find this all out of other forums but it would be cool to make listings of what addons, patches, and changes everyone is making with what success they are having with them as well.

Weird I get on average 5 to 6 hours when browsing websites and watching YouTube. My touchpad has about the same battery life as my gf's ipad.

what's your screen brightness at? I keep my screen at about 65% brightness. Do you have vpn/Bluetooth off? Are you running high volume?

Typically those are battery hogs.

no vpn, no bluetooth. Brightness usually around 15-20%. Volume usually muted.

Is anyone else having issues w/ their pad becoming unresponsive to touch input? Every so often the device just becomes unresponsive for 30 seconds to a minute or so to any input. Don't recall if the home button works.

It's been doing this before and after installing preware

Yea

I'm also having issues when charging via touchstone, haven't used the regular plug.

When I put it on the charger, it charges. I press the power button and it goes into exhibition. Press the power button again, it goes to standby. After 30 seconds the screen turns back on to either the last card I was looking at or exhibition mode and the screen will stay on, never auto turns off even thou it's set to 5 minutes.

If I turn it off again it turns back on again.
If I turn on airplane mode it seems to fix it, but it's not consistent.

^ That's Waisis!

But yeah Miz, I'm not having any of the issues you're describing with my Touchpad nor my touchstone charger.

Also another video is going to be released by CM7 team tonight - the video posted above was running CM7 only on one core; the other core was disabled because of an audio bug that was hogging resources when both cores were enabled, Audio resource bug has been fixed and from what I've gathered from the CM7's irc channel, dual core makes CM7 beastly.
