on a related note, they have posted and taken down the charge authorization on my bank acct 3 times since they notified customers of the 6-8 week lead time on new TP's.

A guy I know (a decent dude, just not a close friend) is selling this bundle (he bought multiple bundles) he got off of QVC:
32GB HP Touchpad ($149.99) + TouchStone Charging Dock ($39.99) + HP Folio Case ($24.99) + Skinomi TechSkin Screen Protector ($6.95) + Tax ($18.30) + Shipping ($19.99) = $260.21
![Wish](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/wish.gif)
Actually, I don't know why I'm even asking. Googling has revealed that the 32GB Touchpad was $500 (499.99) originally, I don't know why I'm hesitating. I sent him a message on FB....

I haven't had any problems with the Touchstone dock. I have the case too, and at night I'll just put the TP on the dock and when I wake up it's charged. I do think the Touchstone will charge slower than just plugging it into an outlet, but I haven't run into any problems.

Dock is cool.

Omg did this just really happened? I got a tracking number from OnSale. I won't believe shit until I have the TP in my hand while sitting on the toilet.
Any ways, is there REALLY an advantage of having a 32gb? I don't know what you would need all 32gb for. I'm thinking about trading with someone on craigslist with 40$ on top.

Depends on how many movies and music you will want on it. Right now I have 0 music and 0 movies because I'm using Orb.com to stream that.
If I traveled a lot I'd put movies/music on it, but I don't travel.

I'm Down Right Fierce!
Just wanted to share with you guys: Remote Desktop on HP Touchpad:
http://ctrainor.satforums.net/2011/0...-the-hard-way/
Yes the process is cumbersome but after you make it through, it does indeed work AND ITS 100% FREE!
A couple things that will make it easier for you guys for the install process:
1. To Start Xterm, you have to: Open Xecutah, tap on Start Xserver. Hit the home button, swipe back to Xecutah, tap on Start XTerm. Hit the home button and swipe back to Xserver which will now be running the terminal emulator.
2. He didn't update his instructions, but he did update the .tgz file: type in the proper command with the proper file name: tar -xvBpf CT-rdesktop-webos-0.1b.tgz
A couple quirks you should know:
1. As far as I can tell, right mouse click doesnt work.
2. If you're not connected to a bluetooth keyboard, the virtual keyboard cannot be removed; apparently if you have a bluetooth keyboard connected, the virtual keyboard disappears (have not tested this since I'm still at work and my BT keyboard is at home).
3. Although you can change the virtual keyboard size after launching RDP, the desktop screen will not resize - meaning if you started your RDP session with a small keyboard and then change it to medium, the virtual keyboard will cover the windows bar if you have the bar at the bottom of the desktop like most normal people.
4. Whichever way your Touchpad is resting, is the way the screen will be: there is no screen rotate option so you are stuck in the same screen position when you first launch Xserver.
5. Yes you do have to retype in: ./rdp.sh username server (although if i could figure out how to copy and paste in Xterm, i could just copy the line from somewhere [email probably] to make it easier.
6. Yes sound (within Windows) and all that other stuff does work.
I've already used it in court this morning (tethering to my Atrix) to access documents on my work computers network.
