Saw a post on SD stating Kennesaw had it in stock, and it was posted three minutes earlier. Thought about it for a second or two and said fuck it, let's try. Got to the store 20 minutes after the post and was next in line when it was announced they ran out of 16GB. Luckily they had 32GBs, and it was 1 per person (I asked).

So, I'll take it. Hadn't had an adrenaline rush like that in a bit. If I get the HP or Bopo order, I'll evaluate my options as it pertains to family and sell here if they aren't needed for gifts. Want to give one to my mom as a birthday present, but not sure if she'll really use it.

 

So who is selling their hp touchpad to me? You can drop $30-50 on top of it... I'm willing and able

 

Is anyone currently working any where near B&H in NYC? (9th and 34th).. they have them in stock, one per person.. Im stuck in NJ today..

 

Updating this thing is impossibly slow.

Well since you are updating it I assume you haven't played with it much. How do you rate the web browsing on it compared to android browser?

 

I'll let you know. Updating to 3.0.2, I've minimized logging and I may put Preware on first.

Got the update downloaded. I think their servers are just slow with all the activity.

The update is a huge improvement for the TouchPad, it should have had that installed before shipping. I think the reviews would have been kinder.

 

The Novacomd installer has been stuck on '9 seconds left' for a good 15 minutes.

 

Grrr... my download keeps failing.

 

Just went to the BB over here. Employee said warehouse told them no more will be shipped, but he wasn't sure if that included Friday afternoon's shipment or not. I'll stop by again tomorrow, also all accessories are sold out.
