Sometimes DVD Decrypter and Nero. Usually Img Burn for copying and convertx2DVD for converting avi's to DVD format.

I use DVD Decypter to rip, then I think DVD shrink to burn the VOB files. I'll have to check the home laptop to verify.

I use BurnAware Free edition. It works pretty well for just about any file type. I use it to burn DVD ISO's.

Researched DVD burning utilities in case someone asked about them. Payed off!

Which ones gave you a virus. CD burner XP and Deep Burner are usually held in high regard and I've never had a virus scan give me any grief about imgburn or dvd decrypter.

For AVI to Dvd you need something that will transcode to mpeg though. I used to use a simple program that did just that, but I can't remember the name. All of my devices can play some form of divx or h.264 now and I lost track of the program.

Dude...

www.download.com

No need to go anywhere else for this stuff unless you happen to be trying to get a virus.

If you stray too far from the path, the wolves will try to get you...

CNet sucks for reviews, but not so much for downloads...

ImgBurn can do just about anything I think. From ISO to video TS folders.
