the untethered JB for Apple TV 2nd gen comes out in less than two hours! It's the one I'm waiting for. It also works on the Apple TV!

To clarify for the noobs. A tethered JB means that everytime you restart the device in this case the ATV you have to plug it back in to your PC and run the JB process over again to re-JB it. The JB is lost during the restart if you don't.
An untethered JB means the device only needs to be JB once and you can restart it turn it off whatever and it will still be JB when you turn it back on. So wait for the untethered JB that will be out shortly.
Also if Apple releases an update that removes the JB so you have to wait for a new JB to come out before updating. Though sometimes the old JB still works on the new iOS version so there's no wait to upgrade.

Apparently it's live already!

here's the Apple TV 2nd gen 4.3 ipsw file that you'll need for the above guide

actually stogie use the button commands from the greenpois0n guide I gave you before to enter DFU mode when using redsn0w. It's identical for both processes. basically you open redsnow, give it the ipsw file for your apple tv and jbs that file, then you put connect your apple tv to your pc, turn off the atv and put it in dfu mode then hit next on redsnow and it will do it's thing.
Stogie follow these steps to put your Apple TV in DFU mode. That's the mode it has to be in for the JB to do it's thing
Plug Apple TV in to USB on PC (7 seconds)
Plug in power adapter (3 seconds)
Press and hold MENU and PLAY/PAUSE (7 seconds)
Release both buttons

yes I was hearing that 4.3 was called 4.2.1 on the Apple TV but then Miz came in and said otherwise. thanks for screwing it up! It's 4.2.1

Cool, I'm gonna buy one of these later today and do it myself. I'll be able to give you a little better advice then. However the important stuff is all automated so the risk of you screwing up and bricking the device is pretty low.
