I'm actually more excited for the ~2900mah battery rumored for te 5.5" model. The ~1900 one for the 4.7" is too small.

It's only 9:37am and I'm at 67% battery

And no my iPhone 5 doesn't fall under te battery replacement program.

What is everyone's preference on iPhone adapter for an 07 TL with an iPhone 5s? I had a USASPEC in my 06 TL and it worked fine, but have seen another brand that has bluetooth as well. Also is there one out there with a lightning connection by default? Just wanting some opinions as I will be getting one installed in the next few weeks.
Thanks

I have the iSimple gateway in mt TL. Has worked very well for over five years now, but can't speak to if the Lightning to 30-pin connectors will translate the controls and info, one of many reasons why I jumped ship two years ago to Android.

iSimple does make a BT adapter as well, and works very well, at least with my HTC One. I have to repair the phone each time I'm in the car, but that may be more a function of the phone than the device.

Thinking about it some more I don't think I can use a BT adapter. Otherwise I can't use hands free link in my 07TL.

Maybe I'll look into airplay.

So do they create their own NFC payment system or use one of the ones already in the market?

"Nobody needs NFC in a phone!"
"We don't need bigger phones, this is the perfect size!"

I hope the 4.7 isn't too giant though. Prototype dimensions make it seem like the size of the Nexus 5.
I hope they don't rebrand NFC, iTap or something silly to fragment the market more.

They probably wanted to wait until touchID Was better developed.

Maybe how it works is that it sends a 1 time use token to the vendor and they can only take X amount of money. After it's transferred the token expires

Agreed with this. The 4.9 inch Nexus 5 is about as big as I can handle.

5.5 is just retarded...

but if it has better components (camera, etc) vs the 4.7...I will probably end up dealing with the monstrosity.

If both phones are basically the same, I might go with the 4.7

But I think I have another year on my contract so I can wait and see.

It can connect to both simultaneously.

It should be able to connect to both simultaneously. I'd check, but my BT module went bad and I'm not looking to replace it any time soon.

I don't think I'd do 5.5 either, I have a Mini that would serve that purpose better. But 4.7? I've been waiting for that for a couple of years.

I have a BT adapter that I use for music via the AUX in my car, and my iPhone pairs to both it, and the cars factory BT. It works great, wireless tunes/navigation through the BT AUX and Call through separate factory BT with the steering controls and all.

This is the one I have, wish I bought it 2 years ago.

Latest rumors seem to indicate the 4.7 and iWatch on 9/9. As far as the 5.5, I don't know.

Most of my friends don't think the 5.5 will happen at all.

Either way, Miz...I said the size of the phone is retarded, not those who buy them. So sensitive.

How about this. It's all tied back to your iTunes account. iTunes account becomes the new Paypal.

And Apple charges a 30% merchant fee

I've always owned an iPhone, and I remember I use to be super excited when a new one was released. This year I don't even care. :/

I'm due for an upgrade in September, but I don't know if I'll be getting any phone.

That's what I read too.

4.7 first, 5.5 at a later date which wasn't been said yet.

and someone should dig up posts from last year where peeps didnt wanna go more than 4.5" and now they are ok with 4.7"

inb4 they are ok with 5.5"

Miz, I totally understand...
I had the original note and LOVED IT...It had a 5.3" screen and now I have the note 3 which is 5.7" but the form factor is the same...same effin length/width/depth, infact the note 3 is smaller in form factor....

the wifey went from Iphone 4 to Galaxy S4 and loved the bump in screen size and I just gifted her the G3 for her birthday which rocks a 5.5" Quad HD screen and totally digs it...the screen is awesome and the phone is only slightly bigger than her S4 and it is skinnier and lighter....

I hope they at LEAST announce the 5.5 one. With say a launch date of 1-2 months later.

At least we will know it's actually coming.

I admit I was one that was fine with a 4" :gheylaugh: screen. But after using a larger screen. It's a must for me now.
