Just got back from the Apple Store at the mall with a brand new 6 to replace my bent one. He inspected it, noticed the bending and asked me a few questions and that was it. Nice and painless.
Well supposedly they're using 7000 series aluminum and thicker in certain weakspots so
Plus they're moving down in cpu process (20nm to 14nm) so it'll be more power efficient.
I wish the battery would stay the same size thou.
Bigger battery and smaller process would hopefully allow my phone to last all day.

For you guys that have been through this before, should I be able to get an unlocked no contract 6S from Apple this month or will that come later? I'm trying to figure out what to do as my 5C is owned by my employer and I just told them to take this job and shove it.
I got my unlocked 6 on launch day last year. Stayed up for the online pre-order and it was delivered on launch day to my door. FWIW I'm in Canada so I'm pretty sure they sell all ours unlocked from the Apple store. Might be different in the states.
:slowclap:
I really hope they don't make the batteries smaller. I'm nearly dead set on a 6S+ as my next phone. Apple's retarded obsession with making their phones thinner and thinner is stupid. Bendgate was the culmination of that.
I can't remember the last time I heard anyone say "my iPhone is awesome, but my only complaint is that it's so thick!"
A noticeable amount of people put otterboxes on their iPhones anyway.

no ones asking for a thinner phone!
heck the rumors say the new iphone is actually thicker! but thats due to using 7000 series aluminum vs the 6000 in the current.
id love for the phone to be the same size as my 6P or even as thick as the 4/4S, but a much bigger battery. i really would like a phone that could last all day of heavy use.
