I won't lie, with iOS8 and if the new iPhone is 4.7", theres a chance I may jump ship.
Lets see what Google I/O and Moto X+1 say. Although I wont be buying a phone or another year at least so it will be iOS9 and whatever google has released by then

I have a question... I don't really follow the whole lawsuit thing... but what exactly is Apple still suing Samsung for these days? All I know is, awhile back, they sued for the... "sliding bar to unlock" thing... and the similarity of the design (home button or whatever)... but what else?
Go Giants

Goodbye.
Food for thought:
Cherry picking features from the competition means the users of that same competition might get a few laughs at your expense, but it means much more than that. It's validation for the designers and engineers who came up with it first, and it delivers great stuff that looks good to the end users.

Yup it's my understanding that it's just ongoing litigation of their original lawsuit. Nothing new.

I want to switch, but iOS 8 is very disappointing. Maybe they'll do something great with #9 or X.

More money. It is essentially the same lawsuit over and over again.....appeal because they lost, appeal because they won but not the billions they wanted, retrial because the judge said their case was stupid, retrial because their case was thrown out because it was pointless, etc...

The hardest thing would be the investment i've made into the playstore. Even though I haven't bought much I still would lose out on some paid apps.
I also still hate their notification bar.

How are notifications bars on android?
I'm not a big fan of them on ios, but at least since iOS 7 you can dismiss them instead of waiting for it to disappear.

so take your iOS notification bar (older version) where notifications could be only cleared by groups (so you can clear only email or only text notifications), on Android, you can clear all the notifications with one tap...also, say you have 20 emails, it groups them, so you can clear all mail notifications with one swipe or you can drag down so it expands and shows you like 5-6 latest emails in the notification bar...or clear ALL your notifications with one tap...pretty cool

Ohh don't get me wrong, most of what they are adding android had for a long time already.. or some variation of it. But thats the thing, with iOS closer to android more than ever and on top of that you get the stability, battery life, and to me, a feature that ranks really high, fingerprint unlock. I kinda want an iPhone.

LOL fingerprint unlock. I did love that on my Atrix, mostly because it was also at the perfect position on the phone. Too bad more people didn't love it and then Apple bought the company.
Bezels.
Some of the funny headlines from WWDC about Apple inventing Google Voice, DropBox, G+ Photos, widgets, and Whatsapp cracked me up yesterday.
Needs more Lemon Pledge
I have dragged down from the top and screenshot my phone and here is what I currently see:
--The three steps icon at the top will clear all notifications at once, the square to its right will access common setting.
--Swiping each bar to the right will dismiss it individually. Pressing it will access the app/setting it refers to.
Goodbye.
On android, (well my MotoX) you dragthe notification bar down to view all content and then can dismiss each one individually, respond directly to items from the bar, or dismiss all items at once.

p.s. Mizouse, you can even disable notifications on certain apps if you don't want them there at all.

Also, you can swipe down with 2 fingers (right hand side for tablets) to get right to the settings toggle bar

Can't go back to until they kill the need for iTunes. I love that I can move files in and out of my phone via USB as the phone is recognized as a drive. Restoring the phone is wayyyyy easier also. I had to jailbreak to get my iPhone to do what Android does stock. Too many things that Android does right even though Apple does some things right as well.
Goodbye.
Yeah, but that's like saying Android has everything ever invented or will be, but you need root.

I know, in just saying.
Anyways despite what iOS 8 will bring, there is still a chance I will switch. Any phone out there can do what I do with my phone.
Surf the net, FB, take pics & Watch pr0n.
