"Signal strength tends to fluctuate regularly when idle (it's jumping between three and five bars as I type), but call quality has been consistent." this came from a guy as he was reviewing the Captivate for this web site...http://m.phonedog.com/2010/07/28/aar...aptivate-at-t/
Seems like others have been having the same issue, but they are pleased with the call quality... I know on my Pre, the call quality falls off dramatically at 2 bars and it drops at one...
Did yours come with the GPS fix in place already?

phones. They didn't make too much of an improvement in the Droid 2 which they could've done easily. They're probably waiting for Verizon to transition into LTE before dropping any new stuff like a front facing cam, etc. Motoblur is
Not a fan of it. It has no purpose at all and looks tacky unlike Sense and even TouchWiz. Also the fact that they're locking the bootloader in their future phones is a big turn off for me. Staying away from Motorola for a while until they get it together.

How thick is the Dell streak in relation to the iPad. Just because the samsung galaxy tablet is supposed to be thicker than the Dell streak.
But weighs less than the iPad due to the plastic they use

Its part of the theme. If you have root you can use an app called Metamorph by Stericson in the market. Then grab the different metamorph themes off xda. Search youtube for a demo of how metamorph works.
not sure what widget that is but if it is the switch pro widget, than it allows you to change the color while you are adding the widget to the home screen.

Stunna dun dun it on his iPhone!!! WOW!
SUCCESS!! I just installed Android Froyo 2.2 on my old iPhone 3G!
I updated the version if iPhodroid and it worked like a charm this time and I didn't have the error I was getting with the older versions.
This is alpha android but I'd expect things to get much better. Power management and battery life is abysmal but wifi and multitouch works pretty well, I haven't tried cell signal yet. I got a tmobile SIM I can pop in temporarily to test. The home button is the menu button and the "-" volume button is the home button and the "+" is the call button.
The problem seems to be mostly related to alpha quality drivers and as those improve things will get much better.
SEE the actual pics on this page... I don't know how to move them over here... LOL

If they can get Android running smooth on the iPhone I will pick one up. I'm not going to deny that Apple makes great hardware but I'm not a fan of the restrictions in iOS.

That's awesome. Saving it as my wallpaper. lol.

I believe that they're also going to make different sizes of this tablet. The 7" will be the first to come out but they will have a 10" option in the future. The video demo they have of the tablet looks smooth. Will be looking forward to this tablet.

Apple needs a ipad 1/2pint to keep up now... and yeah it was really smooth and fast! Mike, how many different sizes ya figure? 3 maybe?

I think they're just trying to ramp up productions of the bigger screen sizes since 7" is easier to make than the 8" and 10".

Now with the latest batch of smart phones it seems like they are trying to make them as big as possible.
And I didn't know it was supposed to have cell service. What about the supposed 10" model?
Yea funny how the trend in the late 90s early 2000s was to make the phone as small as possible ala zoolander.
