30" LCD...?

I know there are several threads on TV's yet, I can't search for these keywords

Can anybody reccomend a cheaper 26-30" LCD TV? I don't want to spend a ton of money, but I want an LCD. No need for HD, but if it's there I'm not going to complain.

They also have a 30" model. Believe it or not but target.com carries them at pretty decent prices.

....for some reason... there's a huge price jump from sizes 27" to 30" to 32"... I mean... like HUGE!!! If you'd settle for a 27" model... Costco has some pretty decent options.... and (once again) they have a no hassle return policy... (just don't lose your receipt). Personally... I bought Philips' 30" LCD widescreen HDTV a few months ago... and I love it... it's got a great picture... that (near) rivals Sharp's... (which is a lot more at that size). And it came with a wall mount (which I used), usually wall mounts will cost ya another $100 or so.

the difference between the 27" and 32" lcd in terms of size is big IMO, the price tag for a 32" lcd is like $1200 now. Wait a little till it drops and buy IMO, however I hear HDTV lcd's suck on cable or digital cable, only good with DVD and HDTV content

...besides computers.... they take everything back NO time limits!!! (with computers, they'll take back only if it's within 6 months, after that you deal with the manuf.). Even though they'll actually take a return with no receipt... they do frawn on it, especially if it's an expensive item (like a LCD TV or plasma). I did do a ton of returns a few months ago... and I think they may have "flaged" my membership in their system... but thats my own fault because I didn't have any receipt on any of them... and one of the items was near $500!!!

.... I do predict though... in the future they'll put the same 6 months limitation return policy on plasmas and maybe LCD TVs...

(FYI, one of my clients purchased a 50" plasma from Costco about 2 years ago... and it died on her... she just took it back and got cashed out!!! But they still made her money cause she turned around and went back in to buy another one.... that was even more expensive).
