Urlacher = the best player in the NFL.

Without him, Chicago would have lost this game.

But here's hoping Smith slaps his team around for the embarassment that was the first-half.

What an ugly game for Chicago. Even with their defense they will not go far with Grossman playing like that.

To an extent...this was a slap in the face for the Bears. I think they needed something like this (similar to the Minnesota game...well, this was worse) to wake them up. They were acting too cocky for a team this early in the season...they haven't even won anything. So...in a way, I'm quite glad this happened.

maan i was so excited for the bears to lose this game but the second after that fumble i knew there was no way they would loose the game. What is up with neil rackers this year? Rex was terrible.

Grossman sucking was an understatement...he was Mike Tomczak all over again for the Bears today.

His line: 14/37, 148yds, 4 INTs, 2 fumbles

Thank gawd for that Bears D. And sorry folks, I think it deserves credit (at least this week) for the best performance because they won the game for Chicago.

Well, the game was strangely out of characteristic for the Bears.

The suddenly forgot to handoff to Jones (who's a good running back IMO)...and Grossman kept forcing out into coverage instead of underneath. If there was a time to dink-and-dunk a little, today was the day with the Cards playing Moose and Berrian well and deep...

And when Grossman did attempt to throw underneath, his receivers dropped them or were being lined up by Green and the rest of the Arizona secondary. Seriously messed up offense today. They better make use of the bye and work on their execution and game-plan...

i think it was espn, they had ditka on and they were comparing these guys to the 85 Bears. Coach was saying, I hope these guys are better, cuz we were good. I'm from Chgo and I'm still not sold on grossman. AZ should have won, Bears only capitalized on mistakes toward the end

Big ups to Urlacher for the save

^ Comparos of this team to the '85 Bears is retarded. The press is blowing it out of proportion.

NO COMPARISON. The 2006 team...even if they go into the playoffs undefeated is still not in the league of the '85 Bears unless they win the Superbowl...and then, only then, is a discussion even warranted.

But, in my mind, '85 Bears will always be the greatest.

Ah. Well, Piniella does have fire and passion?

Meh, I'm not so concerned who the bench boss is as the players Hendry is getting. Players win ball games...

Yeah, I had 77 points going into Monday night w/ Robbie Gould and Rex Grossman left to play. Thankfully, I had a big enough lead to cover. Grossman lost a lot of people games yesterday.

I dont think it's really them that are cocky, the problem is EVERYONE is hyping them up, at least the local media here. However, they dont get carried away in the media and local AM radio. Rex played ugly, but I dont think it's reflective as him. He has had 5 positive games. He just started out bad and the rest of the game went downhill. It's pretty common for young, unexperienced players. Just tried too much and I think his nerves were jilted. Happens to ppl all the time. Hopefully he takes this as a lesson.

Can't believe I quit watching the game last night at half time (damn gf )

I turned it back on right when Rackers was choking and couldn't figure out what was going on. Probably had the worst face ever while watching the highlights on Sportscenter. :shakehead

Question: What happend to Mike Brown?

Ohhh...keep the flying.

But, all I've gotta say is: at least my team's undefeated. And oops. Did yours just FIRE their offensive coordinator?

I smell trouble.

What I don't understand is why the Cardinals kept running Edgerrin James so often when he got fucking stuffed every single time. Their offensive line couldn't block shit for him...ahfhaoaffa83wqoht - I don't care that much, but I do like to see Leinart play well.

At least my Giants are gonna trample the Cowboys at Dallas next Monday

Well, a couple of factors, I suppose...

Edge complained and bished all week about his "role" and so, I guess the team gave him his shot to close out a game. Oops. Secondly, they were trying to run out the clock.

His fumble really was a tough play against him cuz well, he got stripped by no ordinary player...

But, all in all, Arizona choked. And Da Bears better go back to the drawing board...

Urlacher gets alot of the press/spotlight...but, Brown is one of the true leaders on the Bears D...without him, the Bears play poorer overall--giving up more rush and pass yardage.
