Oh, you wanted the bashing to continue...? I thought you wanted a reprieve after the embarassment to the Chargers...

Wow, what a bad game for Eli. I think if he played average they could come out with a win.

its not an absurd thought.... i'd like to see them get in actually, no one even mentioned the 49ers in the preseason...for them to make the playoffs would be cool...

then lose to the cowboys in round 1 would be even cooler

So, Romo's got 5 TD tosses so far in a game with T-Bay...

Let's count how long before he's supplants Phil Rivers as the media's flavor of the week.

Jacksonville loses on a last second FG... I doubt we will make the playoffs.

Pittsburgh gets Shut-Out... again.

Shockey hurt himself...in warm ups.

And wow. I'm shocked that Scotchtape's team didn't allow a 700 yard passing game from an opponent this week.

I turned that game off early on cause I figured Giants had an easy win coming - so much to my surprise after decorating the tree, I turned on ESPN and I see them interviewing the Titans coach with the words - Titans Def Giants on the screen!!

I could not believe it - what a great day..Philly down...Giants down...Redskins beat Carolina which helps too. Usually these are the weekends we lose too - never taking advantage of the other teams losses.

Next Sunday's game - will be huge.

12:00 AM Monday night: my friend and I had a discussion about the game. I decided to have him snap the ball to me, and found that it was VERY easy to hold onto the ball!

Grossman cost the Bears a win, period. It was GREAT game where everyone played pretty well, except for a certain QB. That was the deciding factor.

also, both teams looked very prepared for this game. I havent seen ESPN's coverage and I'm sure they blast the Bears because their precious East coast prevailed, but both teams played very, very well. I was expecting a loss, but I am very proud to see that we went down to the very end.

Keep in mind, New England / any AFC contender needed this game because the AFC is so pressure-cooked right now. The Bears are still 2 games ahead of the pace despite a loss...

I doubt it...they seem quite committed to Grossman. That being said, despite being in the League for so long, he's still effectively a rookie and he's only had a small amount of starts so far.

I think he'll be fine.

But, you never know esp. if he continues to stink like this.

Some questions:

- I wonder if Eli is wishing he had gone to the Chargers with LT and that good D or whining his way into NY...?
- And how much longer will Atlanta put up with Vick...?
