Crumpler dropped an end zone pass for a touch, Jenkins couldn't pull them down and Rody White couldn't follow a route by mapquest.

Vick didn't have enough time of possesion and positive plays to get any momentum going and they just shut down Dunn so that any type of play action or bootleg was not fooling anyone.

I tip my hat to the Saints as they came to play and made the Falcons play a one dimensional ball game-passing. Hopefully we can regroup for Sundays game against the Cardinals.

In all fairness to all the other teams Atlanta did play their first 2 games against 0-2 teams.. Of course Carolina finally got a win with Steve Smith back.. But Tampa looks horrible..

Hopefully Atlanta will get their stride back..

And I take offense to the Mapquest comment.. Their maps suck..

I am just glad that the Redskins finally won! Brunell sucks sometimes but he played well last Sunday, breaking the NFL record for the most consecutive completed passes. Good thing Portis is also back!

Green will give in soon, Warner is garbage and he will finally get off his nuts soon. The guys on PTI were totally bagging on Dennis Green, as they should because hes a bag of douche.

I think you guys will be surprised what a capable back-up running back we have in morris. Also Mack strong has been strong this year. Your also forgetting about our new 4 receiver set, with the addition of branch. Losing alexander for a few weeks will not hurt us one bit. We're deep as you'll soon find out. Our offense is twice what Chicago's is. Granted the Bears have a great defense, but as you'll also find out our defense is nothing to sneeze at. Sunday night will be a great game. One of us will be 4 & O. Sure glad I'm not a Pittsburg fan. Thats a pretty sad state of affairs. Go Seahawks!!!

Well, I was more just speaking in jest. It's not like Alexander did much this season anyhow to get the Seahawks to 3-0.

That being said, I'm interested to see how this matches up. The key against the Hawk offence is how the Chicago front 4 handles the O-line. If Harris, Brown, et al can wreck the havoc they are capable of, then I think your team is in trouble as the Bears can just drop everyone else back (i.e. Urlacher, Briggs) to help out the safety and CBs...And if that happens, well, all Grossman needs to do is what he's been doing so far this season and the rest should take care of itself. And oh, we're in Chicago...so, slight edge there too.

We'll see...it's gonna be a good game.

That so-called havoc helped win the game against the Vikes?

And Walter Jones is one. You're forgetting the other 3 are very capable pass-rushers.

I don't think I'm quite the blinded fan as you think I am...I'll tell you if my team stinks in one area (which is running for the moment and Grossman's requirement to throw one lugnutted pass per game). But, I don't think there is a finer front 4 than Chicago's.

like i said, you have one hell of a defense, But Seattle is strong in many areas. Its going to be one hell of a game. I'm thinkin low scoring. 17/14, somethin like that. I'm really excited, our 2 teams playin in front of the national audiance. We will also meet again in the playoffs, i do beleive.

Do you need to see the 5th ring again or 5th trophy?

NFC is uhhhh.. Well we all know.. It sucks..

The NFC records are either 13 wins or 3..

Keep getting your hopes up..

I keep hearing Urlacher hates the Cover 2 you guys run because he doesn't like dropping back so far...I guess he feels he's getting taken out of the action??

I guess whatever works for the team though.

And Indiana is correct about the AFC supremacy. It's almost like in MLB with how the AL just simply slaps around the NL...

You take any 6 teams on the AFC and match it against the NFC and well, sure...perhaps the top two NFC teams have a shot (i.e. Chicago and Seattle)...but, who else can run with the other 4 of Baltimore, Cincy, New England, Pittsburgh, San Diego, and Jacksonville?

Yup. He's no fan of the Cover 2 scheme. He prefers to be up near the line where the chaos is I guess.

Yup, NFL = Not For Long sports league.

But, that being said, it's still early. And that goes for Carolina AND the Indiana's beloved Steelies. There's still too much football to be played to rule out two very well-coached teams with good players on each.

Moi? Pffft...nevar. I get plenty of abuse from that bully in the NHL thread and even from last year's slappage from the Bears-Steelers game...So, no worries. I'll do my best of him when the time comes...

The thing is, don't want to do it prematurely...last thing I want is him getting all smug on me.

The poll i saw, the hawks were 3 point underdogs. Home teams automaticly get 3 for the home field. On a neutral game site it would be a pick-em match.
