I live about 45 mins north of Center City. Can't say I've stayed in the city recently.
What exactly are you planning to do in Philly?
Do you need to be near horses?

I could give you more hotel ideas in Boston than I could in Philly.

I should've been more clear that I'm more looking into what site to see vs hotel. I compiled a list below and was also considering a hop on/off tourbus because we like what the guides add.

  1. Liberty Bell
  2. Rocky Statue
  3. Philly cheesesteak - Geno’s or Pat’s or somewhere better
  4. Independence Hall
  5. Reading Terminal Market
  6. Benjamin Franklin Pkwy
  7. City Hall
  8. Boathouse Row
  9. Love Sculpture
  10. One Liberty Observation Deck

This thread was before Cam's tears could even hit the press table in 2016.

Doom...Pat's and Geno's are imo highly over hyped. Yes there is a nice sense of nostalgia and fame there, due to their location in the Italian Market and movies. But...here are some good suggestions as well

btw.... the Reading Terminal Market will net you some good eats as well.

Still need to kno if Brady kissed Bob Kraft....

Brady will probably kiss Trump if he goes to the White House to eat Burgers and fries.

This is why I research. I want it done right. Appreciate all the feedback. BTW, if mods want to move this to the Travel thread by all means. Though I'm sure most of us would rather talk cheesesteak then Brady's cheese dick.
