Niners!!
Ok, we beat the Steelers, awesome. But, they still need to work on scoring in the Red Zone, the fact that Akers surpassed Rice as the 49er with the most points in a single season says something about this problem. However, our defense is absolutely fantastic! If we can solve our Red Zone issue and combine that with our specialty of creating turnovers, the Niners will be true contenders in reaching the SB. This was a great test and I am glad they got the win!

Entertaining game last night. Long, but very entertaining. Clearly Big Ben was hobbled, so I wouldn't be too worried if I was a Steelers fan. Niners need home field if they ever have to play NO in the playoffs so I hope there's no let down on Sat.
Who the hell gave the go ahead for this schedule anyway? There should not have been a game last night, too short a week.

Too short a week? It's only one day, I think the players will like not playing on Christmas Day. And the SF vs NO isn't until next Monday.

San Fran and NO don't play this year, SF plays Seattle on Saturday and St.Louis the week after.

Yes still struggle in the redzone, yes big Ben was hurt, but man they looked good.
We have a good enough defense that our offense can win with a medium performance.
Same thing sf giants did, everyone said they couldn't compete because they had no bats. But the pitching (defense) kept them in there.

well then marshawn lynch
and i dont know why anyone thiks if we have to travel to sanfran its going to hurt us..
our 3 losses of the season WERE away, but they were by 10, 8, and 6 points.
its always nice to play at home, but im not really concerned about playing anywhere down the road except Green Bay in Green Bay, b/c this time it will be freezing.

Team Owner
I wouldn't say there's a west coast bias in sprots. Everyone loved the 49ers back in the day and this was when cable was a luxury. I grew up an A's fan before the Marlins existed and Rickey Henderson was my fave (more than Miami-raised Canseco).

Miami has always been the sneaky team. Even Brady said himself he hates playing there because you never know what will happen with the Fins.
As far as bias goes, people will hate whatever team is constantly successful or has a history of being so, sometimes.. Most people root for the underdog. It just so happens that the west coast is one popular markets market and thus several sports leagues have 2-5 teams per in California alone. This goes for NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, etc. Higher chance of success, higher chance of haters
