seriously rondo got lucky it was a 2 game suspension. He pushed him into the crowd. although it wasn't directly at the fans. like the former Ron Artest did. It still compromised the safety of fans. i think he shouldve gotten 5

are u serious? rondo kept going at him. if rondo really wanted to, he could've easily just backed off and gone the other way but he kept going at humphries. it was a hard foul by humphries...deserving of a tech but that was it. it could've ended right there but rondo had to instigate shit. here's a pic showing how classy garnett is. i had respect for garnett but now i see this shitty move by him

What in the world the lakers doing putting gasol on the trading block. Now gasol is unhappy. So what if he is no jump shooter, he a better shooter than d12 especially at the FT line. If they trade him, I'd be surprised if they pass the first round. Jim buss should just step down. He is nothing like his father

Well, from the limited number of games I've seen, Pau just doesn't fit in with Dantoni's schemes. He's not athletic enough to run the floor, clogs the paint, and he doesn't stretch the floor enough to give Dwight enough space to work alone in the middle. He's also IMHO, below average in defense for his height/size.
Sad to say it, but Pau's best days are behind him and the Lakers/Mitch probably understand that they need to spin him for athleticism and youth, while he still has some value.

I totally agree D12 is a pretty much one dimensional player and Jim Buss sucks as a GM he went cheap and hired D'antoni and he just isn't working out. I have listened to many of D'Antoni's interviews or news conferences and this guy is in over his head he has no idea to correct the problems that are going on he repeatedly says I don't know or says when Nash gets back everything will work itself out. New flash Nash is not a defensive player so that won't solve anything on that front and it definitely won't solve Dwight's missing freethrows problem. I have come to the conclusion that D'Antoni with the Suns was a perfect storm but his flaws as a coach have been exposed in New York and L.A.

:sigh:
3 of the Lakers first 6 players are out due to injury. Coach got changed during the season and they aren't even running his system. Dwight wasn't supposed to be back until January and he still isn't at his full potential.
The Heat were 9-8 or 8-9 when they put LeBosh Wade together. And that's without all the extenuating circumstances the Lakers have experienced in this young season (or even going back to the voided CP3 trade).
As a die-hard Laker fan, I'm disappointed too. Games have to be won. But there are worse things to get upset over right now.

Up until game 16 of the 2011 NFL season, there was a major clamouring for Tom Coughlin's head.....a little over a month later, they're Super Bowl champs. The day after the parade, that SB victory was ANCIENT history.
We don't mess around. You have to win now (Giants) and win often (Yankees) or go home (Jets/Mets).
Back on topic, two 20 point blowouts vs Miami (and one without Melo, Amare and Shump) seems real enough to me at this time. The talent is clearly there. The coaching is definitely there. It's just a matter of maintaining the stamina needed to reach the promised land.

^^Hopefully they peak at the right time. Playoffs can be a different beast.
The best case scenario: They have the potential to play like the Dallas Mavs when they won the championship. Tyson Chandler on D, a dominant small foward, and a bunch of 3 point shooters. Good defensive concepts also help.
What Amare will do to the mix, though, I don't know.
