No doubt...seemed like the ball was out of his hand before he looked to throw. How about that play with Volquez clearing the bases and winding up on third?

One of the strangest games I've seen in a while. With how bad we're playing (esp. bullpen) I wouldn't be surprised to see the Pirates waltz in here and steal two games

you beat me to it.

That Volquez play was nuts. The Reds haven't looked right since the STL sweep.

Hey, at least you don't play the big bad Pirates again for 3 months!

Yeah, a nice long break from the newest MLB ace Charlie Morton

This road trip to Cleveland, Philly, and Atlanta may turn into a disaster if the past two games are any indication

That game was painful to watch. (after Mariano tried to give it away)

wtf with leaving the bases loaded twice???

I was certain Balmer was going to win repeatedly!

So...are the ChiSox just a tease or have they actually started to resemble a MLB club...?

Buster Posey (reportedly) has a broken ankle and torn ligaments.

His agent has also been diagnosed with a sandy vagina.

Really sucks, I like Posey. Surprised he wasn't hurt worse with the way he was hit, like a broken collarbone or something.

While it was a nasty hit, it was legal and part of the game. Anybody saying he can slide around him...fuck that. Imagine if he tried that and got called out...people would be raping him for not plowing the catcher, and if they eventually lost he would get all the blame.

Agents need to keep their bitchy comments to themselves

Oh and I stayed up until like 2:00 a.m. watching the Reds/Phillies and post-game coverage. So pissed at how many chances we gave away (Phillips chatting with Rollins and getting picked off, and of course Cordero blowing the save right away)

I'm all about guys having fun and joking around on the field or whatever, but I'd like to see Phillips take his game more seriously in crunch time situations like that...this isn't the first time he's been caught not paying attention.

Today was a great day at Dodger Stadium. It was a special event called Bark in the Park where fans got to bring out there dogs and watch the game. Of course we took our Pug Dodger (duh) and everything was going great until around the 5th inning when a fire broke out and everybody on the first base side had to evacuate. Apparently a storage/food area caught on fire and smoke was billowing out of the stadium. We ended up leaving because the smell was terrible and I was concerned, not only for my dog, but for my pregnant wife. Here is a pic from our seats, nothing crazy, but it was smokey as hell!!

I'm not sure if they compensated anybody, but I was thinking about writing a complaint just to see if they would.

^Strange. An event like that would usually yield free tickets to another game. I'd say before opening Word, call them and let them know. You'll probably need to present your old stub or some sort of proof.

All this Lenny Dykstra stuff sure is messed up. I've been following his problems for a few years now...I remember reading something in Sports Illustrated about how successful his businesses and investments were a long time ago.

Some of these guys are never happy with what they have I guess...always need more :shakehead

Dang it Florida is on a nasty losing streak. The bats are cold and when the pitching is on they're ice cold. Then when we got scoring we get shelled. We need Josh Johnson back asap.
