Now, goaltending was the clinic Niemi put up against the Wild yesterday especially on that 5-3 penalty kill. Holy. Some of his saves are just WTF-worthy...




Let's hope this goes into the playoffs.

<--- Not diggin' how the Caps are playing going into the playoffs. Even as they are trying to focus on defense and playing tough games, I'm nervous about their zone play. The last two games, teams have clamped down in the Ovy-Backstrom-Knuble line by jamming the middle and thwarting cross-ice head man passes.

I'm more curious what set off Umberger and his hate for the Caps.
