Beautiful shot, but Cooke is too fucking stupid to leave this alone. He'll go after Kane in the next game they play.

True. Couldn't have happened to a better guy. In Cooke's defense, he did just take on half of the black players in the league during that fight

Anecdotal remark, apparently Kane's dad was a boxer and named him after Holyfield. Kane grew up boxing. I look forward to Cooke looking like this again during the rematch:

I'll give it to Crosby, that little dance around the goal net with about 40 second in regulation was pretty nice.

A 5 point night, overtakes Ovy for goals and ties in points. And yet you come here and try and point out one little thing. Just makes you look like a idiot and a total

Well he did need NINE more games to do so. And leave it a Gwendolyn to get their panties in wad even when I was giving a compliment, what dicks.

I think you mistook my post as pro-Ovy. I was counter-pointing dom's assertion that this was a low-goal season.

Oh, and you're a piece of wasted population. Pig cunt. Your parents should be thrown in an oven for conceiving you.

^^^ The Pens have the same amount of points as the lowly Kings who were not supposed to be in the playoffs this year.

The Pens won't go far..and I think the Sens will take them out of the first round.

BTW you better hope the Hawks don't meet the Wings in the playoffs....the Wings have the Hawks #

I dunno...Stanley Cup hangover, perhaps? I still think you can't rule out any team with Crosby AND Malkin on it.

As for Detroit, the Chicken Wings won the last two games against Chicago. Meh. That being said, I am welcoming a series against them anyhow. The Hawks need to exorcise their playoff demons of the Wings once and for all. Getting the Central crown was the first step...now, kill them in the playoffs.

No, the Hawks are not the Bulls team of the 90s or even close. But, this reminds me of the Bulls/Pistons...

You can't rule out Crosby and Malkin...however this team is a pale shade of last year.

I have a strange feeling the Wings are gonna be playing in the Conference Finals....and perhaps for the cup yet again.

I saw a post on a message board that said even if the Nucks D could combine to form Nuck-Voltron, they still couldn't be better than Doughty....

I Roberto has issues, combined with the weak D...then the Kings should take them out.

...but then again which Kings team is gonna show up?
The pre or post Oly break Kings?
The pre or post Oly break J. Quick?

@ Nuck-Voltron...

Chicken Wings in the Cup Finals...? I think I'll forever give up hockey-watching...

And obsessed-blind-hatred aside, I don't really see how they'll go far with Howard in net. That guy flops around more than fish...and he needs to kiss his crossbar and posts regularly in thanks. As for Captain Serious and the Hawks, they need to stop aiming for the RED METAL.

And honestly, any team with Bertuzzi is due for one idiot penalty per game...and that's deadly in the playoffs. They won't make it to the Finals.

I pray daily.

I hate the Wings as much as the next guy, but you guys are blinded by your hatred of them. They are peaking at the right time...and they know how to play in the playoffs.

Don't count them out.

I'll be as happy as a clam if they get bumped in the first round or 2nd....but I don't think that's going to be an easy task for any team.

I have no picks but I will say this:

I'll root for the Flyers, generally I am the kiss of death for any team I don't care about that I root for so sorry Flyers fans if they lose.

On a side note, if the Flyers win I can rationalize that the Rangers were eliminated by a team on the road to destiny!

GO FLYERS!!!
