So, is Rask leading the league in GAA and save percentage now...?

Meanwhile, Niemi has the most shutouts per start. Not bad!

Shootout was pretty exciting, the 0-2 comeback was nice.

One stat the pointed out tonight, Cindy hasn't had a goal for the games that Malkin has been out, in regulation.

Neither Crosby or Ovie had great games. Crosby's no look pass to Geurin was cool, but he also gave up that shitty turnover to Semin.

Yeah, it sucks, he hasn't been right most of the season, first his shoulder, and now his ankle/leg. Need to get him back for the playoffs, I'm hoping that's why they're resting him now, it doesn't take 4-5 games to recover from a blocked shot if nothing's broken.

It seems like a lot of guys (big-name players) are getting hurt as we get closer to playoff time.

I'd love nothing better than to see the entire Red Wings roster and organization get "hurt"...

Sorry. That's my unreasonable hatred for that team speaking again.

I'm one of the biggest Flames fan right now. Please, please, please eliminate Red Wings.

It's really bad, I know...but, there are 3 sports teams I wish nothing good of: Detroit Red Wings, Green Bay Packers, and Minnesota Vikings.

I really hate them that much.

Put it this way, if I were ruler of the universe, I'd buy up those 3 franchises and absolve them. And then, forever pay the cities whatever fee they wanted so that there will never be a sports franchise there again.

If I didn't have a hated team to root against, what fun would watching sports be? Think about it.

It'd be fun for me.

I am perfectly happy seeing my favorite teams play other franchises.

Think of my hatred for them like...Matt Cooke, Steve Ott, Alex Burrows, and Sean Avery (or in your case, Ovechkin). You don't need them.

So were you rooting for Yzerman and Babcock to get "hurt" while they were leading Team to Gold?

I'm beginning to think Jonesi is right about you - don't be a jackhole. At the very least its bad karma.

Comeuppance will occur when teh cawks dynamic goalie duo leaves skidmarks on your Toews underoos next month.

I rooted for Toews and only Toews. He could've played for Team Afganistan and I would've rooted for that team.

Anyhow, slapsticking aside...I think Chicago's search for a playoff goalie ended tonight.

Well, in Niemi I trust. Toews more so.

To the rest of us, your man-love for Toews is like someone being completely and utterly infatuated with Vincent Damphousse or Pierre Turgeon.

Odd.

Odd.
Pierre Turgeon/Vinnie Damphousse didn't check your beloved Ovie's line to oblivion and hold them off the scoresheet...

Pierre Turgeon/Vinnie Damphousse didn't score the all-important first goal to help give the United State's 51st State the gold medal.

Pierre Turgeon/Vinnie Damphousse didn't become the youngest captain of an Original Six team.

Pierre Turgeon/Vinnie Damphousse can't win faceoffs, kill penalties, score with flare...all in one game. Or evar.

That is all. If Russia had Toews, they would have gold.

Brooks played awesome, defensively and offensively. I"m glad they finally got him to start shooting and putting pucks on net, definitely seems to be paying off in big rebounds and scoring chances.

That's the first time I can ever remember Brooks being one of the 3 stars that's for sure

Well, either the Hawks are playing possum or they are in a world of major trouble. 16 point Central division lead is now down to 5.

WTF.
