I jinxed the Pens yesterday in the Friday afternoon wall thread.

And don't worry, your team's days of ruling the old Norris are near over. The roster is getting too old for this to continue. And although there are obviously some bright spots on the farm, I don't see anyone scaring me on Detroit.
And when that season arrives, hoooo...you're gonna hear it worse than it is now.

It's sad to say that the Wings find more super stars in the later rounds than most teams draft in the first round.

If you want to see an ownership of failure, look no further than the Lions. The only thing consistent on their years and years of mediocrity is their owner!

Another interesting tid bit going back to the discussion we were having a couple days ago. A team captained by a non-North American has never won the Stanley Cup. Never..... Coicidence??
So if the Wings do in fact go on to win it all, Lidstrom would be the first.
Pens in 6.

Detroit is slacking. Their offense can do much better against the D of Dallas.

I will admit, I want the Wings to win (even though I hate Detroit and Dallas equally), but the Pens will win the cup

With the weather in the Bay Area stunning today, my wife is sooooo happy that the Pens-Flyers game is at noon and that I intend to sit and watch the whole thing.

So, it looks more and more like it'll be the Pens versus Dallas Stars in the Cup Final? Should be interesting.
Interesting. Interesting.
Thanks to the Pens for saving my marriage by making this game a pathetic snoozefest., allowing me to turn it off. I can only hope that the Wings at least give the Pens some sort of competition for 4 games.
Now off I go wine tasting.
