If I'm the Leafs, I do everything I possibly can. Including lie, cheat and steal to pry Ken Holland out of Detroit.

Hopefully the Wings win the cup so he'll look for a new challenge in Toronto.

Finally, we get some breaks and win in OT! Now, can we win another at Dallas?

Woo Hoo! Bring on the Pens!

The series was fun to watch and pretty fast-paced. Biron was the difference maker, the guy was incredible! Fun stuff, I love hockey in May.

I would have to argue that and put up Umberger as the difference maker. 8 Goals in 5 games

Well, it's over. Dallas in 6.

I honestly think Detroit is going to destroy them. SJ is better matched up against Detroit.

Ron Wilson is done, he totally made bad decisions on shift management in this game. Also, Erhoff, McClaren and Goc are gone.

FAIL my poor Sharks, but I still love em

Also, I am so buying a Marleau and Nabokov jersey. They were the only ones who really stepped up in each game.

Could barely keep my eyes open at my 7:40 am class this morning thanks to the Sharks-Stars game. What a game, had a bit of everything, great saves, great hits etc. That save by Nabokov a minute or so into overtime was one of the best I have seen in a long time, the game being do or die for the Sharks made it that much better.

Anybody else agree that Brenden Morrow is one of the most underrated players in the league. He never really gets mentioned outside of hockey enthusiasts, he absolutely does everything for the team

werd, i was laying in bed, fell asleep in the middle of 2nd OT, woke up to 3rd OT intermission, i was like are you kidding? fell asleep and missed the goal in the 4th OT.

true on morrow too, i never get to see him play much being on east coast here, but i was thoroughly impressed, he plays such a physical game and was able to maintain it the entire length.

Only watched the first OT, but what an OT period it was.

OT playoff hockey > * No other sport comes close to that intensity/anticipation.

Whatever you're smoking must be some damn good herb!

I will not make a prediction for the Pens/Flyers series for superstious reasons

As for the action out west. I pick the Stars over the Wings in 6... one reason.. Marty Turco

And during the regular season he shows that he can fight too. He is one of the best all around players in the league.

Without a doubt! Did you see him DESTROY Milan Michalek? What a hit! - pumped up the crowd and took out one of the Sharks' best goalscorers for the rest of the game.

The goaltending was amazing. Nabokov stealing Richard's goal (although from the overhead cam it looked like the whole puck was behind the line and shoulda been a goal) and Turco's kick save of Marleau's shot.... whew!

Now I know that the Wings are red hot and the Stars' record against them is shit, but the Stars are also playing awesome hockey and with so much intensity AND they have Turco. They definately have a chance and it is going to be an amazing series.

I'm gonna have to say:

Stars in 7
Penguins in 6

stars vs. flyers = sleepy time.
