On a similar note, is anyone getting tired of all these tools trying to block shots? If you effectively box out the offensive team from the slot/crease area the goalie can handle the puck on his own. When they go down they are screening their own goalie and adding the risk of a really odd deflection and injury. What ever happened to playing the "man" not the puck?

^^Your right...'upon further review' the only thing I found was wsteven's comment which said 'if devils play the b's in the first round it would be a snooze fest. Sorry about that.

The league needs to change the rules to disallow flopping on the ice.

Dog damn Sharks! They did not show up at any point during the game. Let's hope that the first Game 7 in SJ ends up with Sharks win.

Anything better than a game seven in the NHL playoffs?? Especially if it ends up going into OT and 'your' team is in it. I think I see gray hair coming in haha

Duckies went down easy. Talk about a cup hangover.

So Brain Burke still the genius everyone made him out to be?

I think not.

Flames/Sharks should be a hell of a game. Too bad its on the west coast. I ain't staying up.

One step at a time. We have the Habs/Bruins game tonight plus the Caps/Flyers game.

Should be a great night for puck, hopefully the officiating will be a little better this game.

The officiating in the b's/habs game is going to be tough especially since its in Montreal.

Pretty good intro for game 7...

Not looking good for the B's right now down 3-0 with 2:18 to go in the second. Outplayed the 'Habs in the first and beginning of the second, had so many scoring chances early but couldn't put any away. Let's see what happens now...

5-0 looks like the Bruins were really out of it after the first. Seems that first goal may have really hurt them.

So much for the Orange Crush, let see if we can ride Rock the Red to the next round.

I've forgotten what it's like to go through game sevens, this is so much better than other playoffs.

Once the 'Habs scored the third goal...that was it, the Bruins deviated from their game plan and couldn't do anything.

I'm definitely looking forward to next year

I would love to see Ovechkin and the Caps take them out, but if they don't get a chance, leave it to Sid the Kid...

Bunch of fawkin asshats living in Montreal.

"Hey, we won our first round match up. Lets trash 15 police cars and some stores."

How people associate winning in sports with vandalism is beyond my level of comprehension.
