Yes...yes it will. If that happens a Crosby v Ovechkin argument on this board is inevitable lol

Ovechicken, Kovalchuckin then Malkin. Malkin won't have the chances or ice time the other guys get unless Crosby is out for a season.

Both Ovy and Kovy are hitters and snipers how can you not like that style of play

Your right with Ovechkin being first...close second is Kovalchuck for me. He's been on a bad team in a small market his whole career. Has scored 50+ goals in two seasons and plus he's only 25. Imagine if he played for a 'real team'...his stats would be through the roof.

I guess I don't Kovalchuck as a game changer like I do the other two. He reminds me more of a great scorer that can easily be shut down. Unlike Malkin or Ovechkin.

Malkin's play in the last 3-4 months has been truly insane. But I am with you.

I don't want to use that small time frame as my sampling.

Anybody into the AHL?? The P-Bruins have quite a bit of talent down there, even though they are missing Krejci, Nokelainen, Sobotka, Lucic..etc.who were supposed to be down there this year but have made the transition seamlessly. Yet, they still lead the league in points and their cup push will go underway tonight.

I can't wait to see Zach Hamill play for the Bruins next year, some say he is already further along than Modano was at his age.

Bruins are looking good for next year.

Now just win one game at a time vs the Habs

Talking about the lone Montreal goal lol...

"The lone tally came from Patrice Breezeby on a, surprise-surprise, Montreal power play. The penalty was given to Andrew Ference for tripping Alex Louganis-Kovalev. I just watched the play five times in slo-mo. No fucking way did Ference trip him. Tim Thomas may have or maybe it was incidental contact. Or he may have just 'fell' for 18th time in the game. Or a pygmy hit him with a poison dart. Either way, for a 6' 1", 224 lb. extremely skilled skater, he goes down more than the hostess of a rainbow party."

The Rangers vs Devils game tonight was pretty damn good.

I was looking for a game tonight on saw that UHD had a "NHL Hockey" on the line up tonight. So I flip it on and it's the Caps, Flyers game from Sunday, a repeat?? Then I remembered VS

haha yea, here in NY i had the rangers game on 3 different channels, 3 different commentaries, MSG (rangers home ch), MSG+ (formerly FSNY, basically devils home ch), and Versus.

right now i feel like rangers are facing the best goaltender in the eastern conf, so if they can put the puck in on him, they can put the puck in on anyone. blueshirts are going to get wrecked physically in the next round though.

also I like Ovechkin > Kovalchuk > Malkin...

I think Kovalchuk would impress a lot more people if he played for a big market team.

They were downhill Long before that trade. Still not sure what made them think they could trade away their puck moving and offensive minded dman.

Caps will be lucky if they manage to lose the series to the Flyers without getting hurt too badly.

Even before the series began I was thinking the Preds have a really good shot at beating the Wings.

Dallas could make it to the finals yet again.

Did you not see the finals last year? Corvo was useless against the Ducks, hes just too small and not strong enough defensively. Sure he helps the powerplay, but we had bigger problems than that this year

I did. And I know it was only his 4th full season. And first playoff series. I thought he held his own throughout the playoffs even if he wasn't that strong in the finals.

I also saw the Ducks use the same strategy the Sens used against the Pens and Gonchar that year. Play the puck deep and hit the hell out of him. Wear him down and beat him up.

Still thought the positives outweighed the negatives with him. I'm not sure what void they filled, that somehow overshadowed the loss of a puck moving offensive dman.

The media is all over Emery. I'm sure he hurt them, but the guy hasn't played in what, 7 weeks? Time to place the blame elsewhere.

You don't mean blame the coach/gm for keeping him around when all they did was bitch about him in the press..

Him too but lets start with the guys that actually played.

And the Sens owner Melnyk, already said Murry will be back next season. As he should IMO. He did get them to the finals as coach last year.

Fawkin Jonsei.

Last year he bites my head off when the Pens didn't stand a chance, this year he bites it off when I say they'll win the East. There's no pleasing you is there.
