Don't know what replay you were seeing, but the overheard clearly showed the puck never made it across and everyone agreed.

As for Turco's save, that was amazing stuff. He basically karate kicked it out of the air

Michalek got rocked hard, and it was a text book clean hit to boot. Just goes to show you that hockey is not for the weak.

Wings in 6
Pens in 7

Final: Pens in 7

of course there was bias there haha...it would have been under review for much longer if there was any doubt...but you could clearly see it.

Me...But I'd settle for datsyuk, zetterberg, richards, briere and umberger

At least it would be somewhat physical.

I'd love to classify and put umberger since he's a Pittsbrugh kid. But his numbers during the regular season just aren't impressive at all. Especially considering his numbers against pittsburgh alone, he's a Pens Killer.

Out of his 13 goals during the regular season 7 were against the Pens. I hope the playoffs bring him out of his shell and gets him going.

Yea I'm going to say Pens in 5 maybe if Simon Gagne was not injured then the flyers would have a chance. I hope the Stars beat the wings but I doubt it.

^^^^ Best series! I'm a hardcore LA Kings fan...too bad they got dead last this yr; but with all the youngsters they have, they will make a good run in a few years. This video takes me back...Palffy, Deadmarsh, allison, Robitallie and Potvin....unfortunately they couldn't beat Colorado after defeating Detroit. if anyone remembers, they were down 3-1 in the series and came back 3-3 but lost game 7. that same thing happened the following year w/ Colorado but in the first round; 3-1 then kings made it 3-3 but lost in game 7 again. I always say there's always next year.

Leafs fire Paul Maurice. Not sure what took so long. He's a good man and coach but the new GM needs a fresh start. He should have been let go after the season ended.

Don Cherry crossing the border...... He's to join ESPN during the playoff stretch.

Hate to say it but it's a step in the right direction for the US. The more coverage hockey gets especially through ESPN the better.

Of course, Versus has never caught on and imo will never catch on...there are many households in the US that still don't get Versus. Bringing the NHL back to ESPN would be a great lift for the NHL. Hopefully ESPN will get its act together seeing all the young stars of hockey and actually care about it a little bit more than they care about WNBA, softball, World's strongest man, pool etc.

Well, regardless of the TV network, I'm going to be glued watching the Stars/Wings tilt...but, I'll say this: I would rather stick my junk into a blender set to high, and afterwards throwing salt on the remains than see Detroit win the Cup...

...so...GO STARS!

So, anyone wondering why Dion Phaneuf declined the offer to join Team Canada for the World Championships?
