The Pens have been taking payments every month, yet I have no time table for a season, it's extremely frustrating

 

It has to suck being a ticket holder right now but honestly, I am not sure it matters. It isn't like they are going to give you money back and you obviously don't want to give up your seats. There is also no way the season resumes with fans in attendance with things getting worst. The best the teams can hope for at this point is that the travel roster size is allowed to increase and they play in their own arenas with no fans.

 

Avs are going to be freaking scary this season in the Western Conference. I think it'll be down to LV and Denver to rep the West.

 

Hawks will suck. Their rebuild continues.


I'm also looking forward to Edmonton piledriving more high picks into the ground. Because signing Barrie really solves their defense-related issues.

 

Yeah, it's extremely frustrating as I already got a "credit" for the games we didn't play to finish last season, now I'm paying for another season that did not start in October and we have no idea if/when it will start at all. I definitely am not holding my breath that I will get to actually see games in person or sit in my seats any time soon.... Yet they keep taking my money

 

NHL consider a realignment with the following divisions:

Toronto-Ottawa-Winnipeg-Vancouver-Calgary-Montreal-Edmonton
Boston-Buffalo-NYI-NYR-NJ-Philly-Pittsburgh-Wash
Tampa-Florida-Nashville-Carolina-Columbus-Detroit-Chicago-Minnesota
San Jose-LA-Anaheim-Vegas-Colorado-Arizona-Dallas-St. Louis

 

This makes sense for Chicago and Detroit but fucking sucks for Dallas and St. Louis. All those games will start at 9 pm local time.

 

Yes that does fucking suck. Unless the NHL makes all game start at 7pm Central / 5pm Pacific. NHL better not fuck us over.

 

They're claiming the season will start in January and be a 52 game season. I'll believe it when I see it...

 

From '97 to '12 Stars were in the Pacific with tons of 9pm game times. Fucking sucked.

Don't know if anyone else watched them but watched a bunch of the WJC 2021 tournament the past few days including all the US and Canada single elimination games. I needed some hockey. Some super exciting games followed by the US defeating Canada last night for the gold medal.

What Trump did was stupid but having big tech censor speech by banning him I think sets a bad precedent for the future. It's happening today! NHL is back!

Yeah going to be interesting to see how this plays out the first week or two. Hopefully, this is just something that got messed up going into the start of the season and not a sign of what is to come. Needs to be a wakeup to the players that might not be taking it as seriously that if they want to be able to complete the season they need to take it seriously. Staff included in that as well since I believe the Stars positive tests were pin pointed to a trainer or team staff member and not a player.
